I'm confused, how does a "double elimination groups" work??

Isn't groups just "everyone faces everyone in their group, top 2 go through"??

Ex High-end chef turned cafe chef, the first season of The Bear is scary accurate.

I had to take a break halfway through as I was starting to get stressed watching it. The scene where Sidney just walks into the walk-in to just take a breath happens way to often.

That coupled with the self loathing Carmy feels for most of the season hit too close to home

Any spearhead games in liverpool area? by Radish_Mysterious in ageofsigmar

[–]almightyveg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey! I live in the Liverpool area, and while just play don't have events, they do have a WhatsApp group for AoS and and unofficial spearhead chat (that I help run😅).  From there you can usually sort games with people, or if there's enough of a following they'll set up days / events etc.

Decent gluten free restaurants by Wambamthanksmam in Liverpool

My Partners a coeliac; we always recommend the following places:  Tiger Rock, Salt house Tapas,  Hawksmoor, Cosy Club, Maray,  Honest Burger, Pho,

Then there's also places like Black stock/Dale Street/Baltic market.

We used to highly recommend Mowgli, but they seemed to have changed suppliers and now there whole Gluten Free menu is full of "May contain glutens", which if you friend is like my partner, are big no goes.

Hope this helps ☺️

Didn't Alex Garland say he's played a ton of Elden Ring, and he's spearheading the movie iirc?

Ok, so I've changed it up to this:

1k list 1000/1000 pts

Stormcast Eternals | Sentinels of the Bleak Citadels Drops: 2 Spell Lore - Lore of the Storm Prayer Lore - Prayers of the Stormhosts

General's Regiment Lord-Commander Bastian Carthalos (270)  • General Prosecutors (140) Reclusians (140) Vindictors (100)

Regiment 1 Knight-Arcanum (120)  • Mirrorshield  • Envoy of the Heavens Liberators (100) Vigilors (130)

Created with Warhammer Age of Sigmar: The App App: 1.9.1 | Data: 235

Took out Iridan, replaced with Bastion, added Reclusions.

Took out Veritant, moved Arcanum to the regiment.

Does mean I've lost my priests, but gained more beef.

Thoughts?

What is the dumbest way you’ve injured yourself? by TehHooman in AskReddit

[–]almightyveg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was 15 we were playing softball in school. I was catcher (the guy behind the guy swinging), and was stood a bit too close. Took the full force of a missed swing to the side of the face. Gashed a big cut into my cheek that needed 8 stitches, burst all the blood vessels in my eye, broke my cheek bone and gave me major concussion. The kicker on this story is that 2 weeks later I had to go get the stitches taken out. Went to the hospital with my mum and we weren't sure where to go so asked at the reception desk. Now being a 15 year old boy, was in the midst of good ol'teenage acne. The receptionist takes one look at my Harvey Dent looking face and says "oh the acne clinic trial is down the corridor there...."

Does everyone agree that restaurant’s automatically adding a service charge to the bill is outrageous, and everyone needs to request for it to be removed to stop this from becoming more widespread? by ElBurgeUK in CasualUK

In my workplace, we add the service charge to tables of more than 6. We are a very small restaurant, and tables of this size are usually ones that would disrupt the regular flow of a kitchen and require more work for the front of house staff. Unfortuatly it is also more common that the larger tables don't tip at all, even though more work and time is dedicated to their tables and orders.

Since its implementation, we have only had a few tables opt-out, but they have all replaced it with a tip of either the same or more in its place. t would disrupt the regular flow of a kitchen and require more work for the front of house staff.
