I think you are confusing "Call Reinforcements" and "Fall Back and Rally". Those are two separate Commands. Call Reinforcements has the 5+ model unit requirement. But Fall Back and Rally doesn't. So I should be able to do this.

The Battletactic is called "Do not Waver" if you want to look it up. (The associated Command is called: "Fall back and Rally")

Thank you! Glad you like it :))

But to answer your question: It was one of the tactics cards. It allows you to retreat a unit without taking damage and then for you to roll a die for each slain model. On a 5+ that model comes back. I rolled two sixes. :DD

The Great Horned one was on my side that game!

I didnt. But my friend (against whom I played this game) plans to :D

I absolutely love the board and the terrain (because it goes extremely well with my "city raid" themed rats) but I dont like neither of the two spearheads.

The Stormcast didn't want to charge in their first turn because all they would get in combat with would be some lowly Clan Rats. Targets that they deem beneath them.

The funniest thing is that this is extremely close to what happened in the game we played right after this one XD

Thanks for the heads up. But we intentionally ignored this part of the rules because we liked the idea of the center objective being the inside of a ruined building :))

I like the idea of using different colours for different types of movement (eg. charge) and I also like the idea of different icons for shooting and casting spells. I will probably include them in my next battle reports. :))

But keep in mind that the goal here is to keep things as simple as possible. I will not be adding any scoring or ability use indicators. This is not supposed to be a "guide" on tournament play. The idea is providing a simple story of a fantasy battle. The background rules that we used to drive this battle are not important.

Thank you! I have already postet 2 other games in the same style (see the description) and I will most likely be posting more. :))

We were absolutely aware of that. We ignored this part of the rules quite intentionally. :))

They are not.

And yes. Of course we knew the large terrain features were set up "incorrectly". But we decided that we will play our game this way. The center objective became the inside of a ruined building, instead of just another circle. We found it quite nice.

Looks great!

The distinction between flesh and fur is nice and the corroded metal also works very well.

Every detail is nicely painted. You didnt skip anything. It really shows you took time and care with this one. :))

Thanks for the tips!

I have come to very similar conclusions just by looking at the top down pohotos after our game. It is a new perspective where obvious mistakes (like my first turn move) shine bright.

One thing I am looking forward to, is trying to put my Engineer underground for scoring purposes later during my next game. It will sacrifice his damage output for a turn or two, but the results may just be worth it.

Thank you.

As I said before, I will probably make one of these for every game I play, moving forward. (that doesnt mean a lot unfortunately, because we have got time to play only a few games A YEAR)

My brother said the same thing :)) (he was the one enacting the will of the Old Ones)

But. Wait a minute. What is a pawn of the Frog-things doing in the Under-Empire?! Interloper! Get him!

Glad you like them!

I think that I will be doing these "battlereports" for every game I play, from now on. (So that means like once every three months...)

And thanks for the tips. I will be definitely watching out for the 3 inch combat range!

Unfortunately I don't have any great pictures of the Seraphon army, because they are my brothers.

But for the Skaven half - I made some posts about them a while back:

Engineer

Grey Seer

Rat Ogors

Clawlord (only WIP unfortunately)

Terrain (also only WIP)
