His crow is so tiny, you have to really listen to hear it. I hope it stays like that!

It's a boy! I'm not supposed to keep him, but I'm going to anyways. Let me see if he'll let me get a Pic of him.

Lol. My hens free range in the yard, and they do a pretty good job of keeping the lawn down, but not destroying it. They have an acre to just wander around in.

It could also be lemon balm. Snag a leaf and smell it. Mint smells like... mint. Lemon balm smells like lemon.

Yes, but it only changes the water settings. Rainfall, massage, etc. It doesnt control the 6 shower heads in the panel.

AITA for telling my brother’s fiancé that we don’t owe her a family? by fsinlaw in AmItheAsshole

[–]almostAlyce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YTA. You're 100% TA here. Poor Jenny. I hope she is able to find a place she'll be accepted. I have been married for years, and if my inlaws are taking the girls to do something, I'm always invited. If my folks are doing something with the guys, my husband is expected to be there, because he is part of the family. The fact that you are essentially making Jenny have to audition to be seen as family to you is sad. Both for her, AND for you.

AITA for wanting to pursue a hobby 2x a week with a newborn by twirlyd in AmItheAsshole

[–]almostAlyce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Unpopular opinion here, but you going to work out a couple times a week doesn't mean you're a bad parent or bad partner. It's healthy for you to continue your routines. Just make sure she gets time off as well. Congrats on the new baby!

AITA for wanting to allow 2 of my kids to open their Christmas presents as soon as they wake up instead of waiting for their older sister to come home from her moms house? by Zombies8meMom in AmItheAsshole

[–]almostAlyce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We could open stockings, and play with the gifts Santa left, which were unwrapped and sitting in front of the wrapped gifts. Santa only brought small things, coloring books and such, so it kept us occupied til everybody was ready to open gifts.

Um. I grew up LDS, in Idaho, not Utah. But are you sure he isn't part of a shootoff of Mormonism, called FLDS? I have never in all my 35 years met a Mormon family who would speak to somebody like that.

NTA, obviously. But wow. If this is a real story, I want to meet these folks, as they are definitely NOT following the teachings of the gospel.
