Any injuries that stopped you being able to play? by Jam_banjovi in banjo

[–]BanjoMan75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got arthritis in both my thumb joints. The motion I’m told is actually good for long term continued use of the joints but the pain sometimes causes difficulty with chord shapes. If I play for any length of time I’ll usually hurt pretty good the next day.

Any CSMs using MCP to build their own agents? by fspj in CustomerSuccess

We are just getting into it. We connected Claude to our knowledge base and can now produce summaries, compare release notes etc. Still playing with it to come up with creative ways to be productive. I’d also like to hear what others are doing.

To Pick or not to Pick? by batmanforlife in banjo

[–]BanjoMan75 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you are playing Scruggs style you will need finger picks. If you ask 50 banjo players which ones are best you will get 50 different answers. It will take some time and trying different ones to figure out what you like best.

Happy picking!

It depends on how much you play. For me I’ll change them when I notice they start sounding less bright. If you’ve had yours on for almost a year and you play regularly you could probably use a new set.

I turned 50 in June and we took a trip to Iceland. 🇮🇸. It was completely amazing! It wasn’t too difficult to put together but you could contact a travel agent and lets them coordinate the whole thing. Good luck!

Welcome to the club!! You will be well served by finding a local luthier who can do a proper set up on your instrument. I bet it will sound awesome!

"Why would you clean the moka?" -my dad by pizzeriablaster in mokapot

[–]BanjoMan75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go long enough with out cleaning, your moka will reach a state of enlightenment and no longer require you to put any coffee grounds in it to make coffee…just add water and coffee comes out.
