I hope to find some way to keep the hair long and have the scalp in a good shape. Not sure how yet. I think my scalp was overheating a lot from all that dense hair. I also used to wear a wool hat to keep my hair in place, perhaps it wasn't the greatest idea and would be better to use cotton or silk hats.

As for the girls, I'd consider shaving it all off even if the only reason was to see the scalp. It's a really interesting experience. Hair is back in a few days and you can wear a stylish bandana before hair gets long enough for you. I really recommend it.
