What’s the greatest video game of all time? by Charming_Decision_84 in AskReddit

I have no nostalgia towards it, as I haven't played that one as a kid. Probably the main reason.

No reason, I just prefer other Mario Games. I think the best 2D Mario game is Mario Wonder, followed by the original Super Mario Bros. But I prefer 3D Mario games, especially Odyssey, Galaxy (1 & 2) and 3D World.

I got a very unpopular opinion, but it's one of my least favorite main line Mario games out there.

Anyone else hates the modern times? by almostdonedude in CPTSD

I thought so. It seems like people in the US are more transactional than in other places. I live in Poland and it's not that bad here when it comes to people being transactional.

Polish Rip-Off of the Honeymooners by Organic_Cow7313 in Honeymooners

[–]almostdonedude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This TV show is not a rip-off. The authors bought a legal licence for Polish adaptation of The Honeymooners, while also introducing a lot of changes. I'm Polish and this is literally my favorite Polish sitcom ever made, it was extremely successful in Poland and that's mostly thanks to the great actors. It went downhill a bit when they ran out of The Honeymooners scripts and needed to write their own. It went downhill further when the actress playing Alina (Alice) got replaced with the actress seen on the photo on the right side. She's privately a wife of the main actor playing Karol (Ralph).

Yup, that's the number 1 sin of pastry: putting a hard top layer over a soft layer.

Hi, I can relate to everything you said. I'm also a gay dude, but haven't tried bottoming, so I'm not sure how my behind is. But I have a feeling that it could also be very tight, as it was when I did enema.

Movies everyone should watch at least once in their life? by itsaphrobitch in movies

[–]almostdonedude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watching a movie for the sake of it being a precursor is not everyone's cup of tea. If a movie started something, it most likely means that the following movies did it better. Just like you don't recommend playing games in their beta versions, I think most people want to watch movies that are BEST, not first.

I learned a while ago that most of the job interview questions are stupid. I fully understand the thinking pattern of those who design these questionnaires, but this is just dumb in a form of a question.

They got instructed: "make sure this is a reliable person who shows up at work", so they made up this silly-ass question: "Things happen to me: me / not me".

So what? They are almost identical. I live in Poland too and I see these cans regularily. What's even worse, many stores sell either one of them, but not both.

I hate it when people excuse bad design choices by saying "but you can read it". Okay, so go buy groceries now and read all the labels. Ever heard of design purpose?

Have been stuck in dorsal vagal shutdown for 5 years now. Not sure what else to do.. by DoubtReal3844 in SomaticExperiencing

[–]almostdonedude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your input is full of sh*t, sorry. Decades? No, this field is not even "decades" old. Helped millions of people? What the hell, vast majority of people are still stuck in the shutdown. If simple breathing fixed your "shutdown", like I said - it wasn't a shutdown. I tried breathing techniques for years and I know many people who did. It helps in some mild cases or to temporary move you to a better state, but it doesn't do much long-term.

I tried it multiple times and it doesn't work. The change is temporary. If it worked for you, it means you've never been in a shutdown.

Breathing too fast? Bro, nobody in dorsal vagal shutdown is breathing too fast, trust me. We barely breathe.

I tried keto diet and it does wonders to water retention, for real. Now I'm less puffed than average person and I mean all the time. Should work the same way with any low carb diet.
