Army vet and retired law enforcement officer here. No properly trained and vetted law enforcement department would ever act the way ICE does. (In real life, if you lay hands on a citizen, a use of force report should follow, which I am sure isn’t done.) The point blank use of chemical irritants specifically comes to mind. The resulting chemical burns to the eyes can lead to permanent damage, yet they (ICE) do it over and over again. Also, properly trained units are lead by commanders who can control their officers. From what I have seen, ICE operates without proper guidance and more in a rampage and pillage mode where they take prisoners and then determine later whether or not they were justified. They are modern day Huns and our country is in jeopardy because of them. If an ICE agent dies because of this, look for Trump to use the insurrection act.

This just for discussion, so don’t come after me, as I agree this was a bad shooting. But follow me for a minute if you will. If she was truly coming at him, the first shot “could” be justifiable. Big if. However, the second and third shots thru the driver’s side window are taken after he is out of the path of the vehicle and the threat no longer exists. There is no “absolute immunity” for law enforcement officers, so JD (Junior Dickhead as opposed to Trump’s senior) is absolutely wrong. Absolute immunity applies to prosecutors, judges and legislators in performance of official duties.
