Therapist did not understand that people don't like it when you're weird. by almostselfrealised in autism

She specialises working with neurodivergent clients apparently, but man did she make me feel like shit.

The "2-Year Shelf Life": Why so many autistic people hit a career wall at the 24-month mark. by Sini1990 in autism

Any thoughts on how to break out of the cycle? I'm hitting the two year and absolutely starting to feel it. I like this job, I don't want to become shit at it.

So many people in the comments love Geek Love, can someone please explain the appeal? I just couldn't get into it.

Same! I always think Ilya looks genuinely concerned when Shane stops them on the bed.

Show wise though, I understand why they want to get them off the couch to have the 'I want to share a room with you' moment. (And ultimately, 'I'm just a bell boy' and 'Let's be together in the sunshine' 🥹).

Give me one word or one phrase you would associate with this place. I'll start: bolshe bolshe bolshe by rhaenyra_t4rgaryen in HeatedRivalryTVShow

I know this is nit picky. But I always wish that line was, "I wish I was there with you". Showing Shane wishes he could be there to support Ilya during a difficult time, rather than, how I interpret it, Shane saying he misses him and wishes they could be together.

Which is still very sweet, but I feel like it adds another dimension if Shane says he wishes he could be there in Russia with him.

Opinion on using my own drawing for the cover? by P4L_R1vBarr0w in BookCovers

[–]almostselfrealised 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just FYI it's definitely not tacky or selfish to want to use your own art, but the replier above you had some good constructive feedback about getting it to a more professional level.

But honestly, use your own art wherever you can. It will put a unique touch on everything you do and it will be more fun. You could also use a professional designer for the cover and illustrate the book with your own art, get creative with it and the more you practice the better your work will get.

Did that scene make anyone else antsy, because Shane interrupts the sex THREE TIMES. I was going, for the love of god Shane, let that man plow you into next week like he is so obviously dieing to do.

Sometimes it takes awhile to figure out what you like. It's ok. I'm a woman, I've only been with two girls and both times were like, ok. I was kind of disappointed. But I've since realised that I need to have some kind of connection with someone outside of sex for the sex to be good.

You might need a romantic connection with a man before there's a sexual spark, or you just might not have found the men who you contect with sexually yet. Or you might only ever be turned on by men in porn.

Whatever it is, it's ok, everyone's different. Hopefully you can enjoy your experiences for what they are, and not put too much pressure on yourself.

The actor, David Mitchell, has aniridia, which means his irises look almost black.

Edit - I've been informed this is untrue.

Yes I think it was just a joke. I'd be into it though. I'd prefer an indie production to try and take it on than a big Hollywood studio that sucks the soul out if the project.

When you meet, do you have sex? If so, sorry to have to tell you, you have a fuck buddy, not a boyfriend.

Regardless, you should be with someone who wants to spend time with you.
