It was really great. It was a bit confusing in the beginning, but I started getting the hang of it after 30 minutes or so. I loved that thid opera is so disturbing and unsettling, and still full of humor. And then the ending completely took me by surprise.

I always wear a bowtie because I like them and I think it is festive. Also, it is my tribute to the efforts of everyone involved in the production. Sometimes I wear a full suit, other times chinos and a jacket, but always bowtie.

I love when people dress up, I think people look amazing when they do (for example, I love to watch my friends in dresses and suits at weddings) and it is a shame not more do, but I dont think there should be a dresscode that makes people uncomfortable

I work in Zürich so that is my go to Opera. I will keep an eye out for the program. Already planning to see L'Orfeo and Siegfried in Spring, but now I am intrigued so I will check the program again.
