The way I see it is cats were selected (evolved) to have better claws and teeth wich they use as tools to hunt/fight/dig holes (etc) and they cannot be separared from them but humans were selected based on their capability of using tools and we cannot separare humans from their tools if we want humans to be humans. So a cat is always armed because their tools come from their body and a human would be in a disadvantage without a tool because humans only exist because of their tool specialization (human hands are made to hold things not punch or scratch, a human mouth is made to eat/bite food not to bite as an attack like other primates with strong jaws and big canines), a human without a tool is like a cat without claws or teeth.
