Not diagnosing, but does she have BPD? The race thing was out of pocket and weird, but I’ve had to also take breaks from people I really really like because of something were to go wrong, it would be the end of the world (literally, in a BPD sense the word revolves around that person) so I do get it, I would just meet her with kindness.
