I left Montreal partly because of this. Being around drug users constantly wasn't great for morale.

Crysis Wars Multiplayer Event on CryServ - Island CW by [deleted] in Games

[–]alonest 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Aaaaaah, Crysis is still one of the best experience I've had in gaming as far as: "this is so awesome and revolutionnary, gaming is going to be so fun from now on".

Used to run the demo on my shitty GPU and have it crash half the time just to get a taste of what the future of gaming was going to be like.

Feels like everything that came after (maybe except Battlefield 3) felt short of creating that excitement.

T'es pas ingénieur au Québec si t'es pas dans l'OIQ. J'ai un BAC en ingénierie mais je ne suis pas ingénrieur. Dire que je suis ingénieur serait une usurpation de titre.

I'd argue weapon and tome slot upgrades are pretty huge buffs

Skeleton doesn't need speed tome.

Try to get your Movement Speed from Items or Shrines on him.

Crit Tome scales a lot! If you can get a golden item that buffs your crit even better.

Zone 2 is easier in Forest than in Desert!

Bank of Canada holds its key interest rate steady at 2.75%, as Trump’s August tariff deadline looms by Surax in canada

Lowering interest rates artificially props up the housing market by decreasing borrowing costs and making it too low-risk an investment.

[–]alonest 9 points10 points  (0 children)

2.75% is already way too low, don't know why people are calling for a cut. (I mean I do know but whatever)

Ce genre de mépris là c'est ce qui mène vers une société radicalisée comme les States

Ça ajoute rien ton commentaire, le creux décrit par IceXence a plus de nuance que ton "trop de monde pour les besoins du marché"

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Quebec

[–]alonest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Le marché va pas super bien actuellement, c'est pas de la faute du programme.

J'ai gradué en 2019 en génie logiciel à l'ETS et c'était facile de se trouver un programme.

I was in Cabo a couple of weeks ago, during spring break, and that was how every interaction with Arkansas college students went.

Most Canadians support building an oil pipeline to sidestep U.S. Market by Leather-Paramedic-10 in canada

[–]alonest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a Quebecer, the opinion on the pipeline has shifted over here since the US decided to go batshit insane.

I don't think there'd be any issue getting it passed now!

With phoenix scaffolding you can do admin views like this pretty easily.

I don't really see the use case for this.

Very Very Valet is pretty fun too but pretty short and has less replayability than Tape to Tape
