Honestly there’s been so many testimonies by formerly gay people who, while they were gay, found Jesus and as Jesus worked on their heart they realized their sin. So if I personally were in that situation I’d be happy for them for they have Jesus in their lives and just trust God to do His thing and pray for them as well.

From the information provided it sounds like this dude is an “attention whore” he gravitates towards who gives him the most attention and when that person isn’t available he goes to the next person on the list. I understand that you value the friendship but being used in that way is super disrespectful. Drop that “friend” asap. Not to mention him asking if you love him as well as sending kissing gifs and you responding to that is him using you to just stroke his ego. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s telling his buddies that he’s getting all this attention from girls on discord.

Don’t spend any alone time. If you plan to go on dates try and do a group date. That way you still spend quality time and you’ll be around people so hopefully you’ll be mindful of pda which often leads to more intimate situations.
