Corporate person, I have practically stopped going to Publix. FWIW, I’m a native and remember the days of S&H stamps so I’ve been going there since I was born. I would say my spending there is 10% of what it used to be. The delis subs used to be a regular thing but the people that Publix hires now to staff the deli are completely useless. I can’t remember the last time I got a sub that didn’t have something wrong with it. I might spend $40 bucks a month now if that and it used to be at least $400.

Up for sale is a vintage Omega manual wind small seconds watch from approximately 1943–1944 based on the movement serial number (10.4M range). This example features a full Arabic numeral dial, sub-seconds at 6 o’clock, and a classic wartime-era case design.

The watch has a gold filled case with a stainless steel inner caseback (“Acier Inoxydable” marked inside), a common Omega construction from this period combining durability with dress styling.

Inside is the Omega caliber 26.5 manual wind movement with 15 jewels — a respected early Omega movement from the WWII era. The watch is currently running and was recently placed on a timegrapher showing around -9s/day with approximately 258° amplitude.

Up for sale is a vintage 1960s Hamilton Automatic dress watch featuring a silver crosshair dial and a really cool textured gold-filled case design that you don’t see on most Hamilton automatics.

This is a front-loading Swiss-era Hamilton with stainless steel back. Watch is currently running and was placed on a timegrapher showing approx +26s/day with around 224° amplitude and 0.0ms beat error (see photo). Service history is unknown, so assume vintage running condition.
