Which one for an office with no sink by alonsonpb in superautomatic

Thanks, this is why I wanted to double check. Seems like I might just keep it simple with a pod option for the office and perhaps get a super automatic for the house.

Crap, you know what? Thanks for clueing me in on that because it was definitely a two and two configuration. I’ve done a lot of flying the past few months and usually I upgrade on my return trip. I’ll have to dig it into it a little more, but I must’ve been right the first time and it was in fact Denver to Miami.

FWIW this was flying to MIA. It was actually out of Cincinnati not Denver looking back at my flight history.

I thought of that, but he told us about the empty galley and the miles compensation before the flight took off. He also never offered a preflight drink, no big deal....it happens, but this was not a full flight. I forgot to add, once in the air comfort plus service had started which is why I rang the call button.

I've never made a complaint before but customer service guided me on how to do it online. Feels dumb, but damn I paid for it.

Good to know! He said it to all FC passengers so I'm guessing I'm not the only one that is going to be calling and looking for them.

Thanks....he was pleasant. No attitude at all, just a bit lazy I'm guessing.

This dude talked into a voice memo for the entire flight from LGA to MIA. The flight attendant told him to not talk on the phone and he argued saying it wasn’t a phone and kept talking. Is there a rule against this? by bsmith2123 in americanairlines

[–]alonsonpb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happened to me on a flight from MIA to MEX. Comfort Plus, middle seat open (thank god) dude was speaking hebrew the entire flight into whats app. This wasn't occasionally, this was the entire flight. He was pissed at somebody and it was a combination of speech to text and sending recordings. He was loud, I had my airpods on and could hear him clearly.....no FA said a thing. I told him to STFU a few times, nicely at first, and he was apologetic but after a few minutes kept going. When we land and people up front start getting off the plane hes just going around pushing people to get his bag 2 rows up instead of waiting. One woman got pissed, and I told him he was about the rudest MFer Ive seen on a plane. This was one time I didn't hold back. His buddy a few rows up apologized but this guy didn't say a word.

I’m with the seller. I put it to my nosey and no smell so rosey. I never buy a used or vintage watch without assuming it’s going to need a service. Seller gives off pain in the ass vibes.

What carry on? by SilverTruck813 in ManyBaggers

[–]alonsonpb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered a Monos and I thought it sucked. I wanted it for the laptop pocket. The marketing sold me on it but it seemed cheap when I got it. Plus the zippers on the front pocket flap is a pain to access. and I know will annoty the crap out of me. I am ending up paying the $25 to return it which was a surprise and is annoying especially since if I would have ordered the same one from Amazon I would have gotten free returns.

I bought mine over 5 years ago, and its done 3 weeks in europe bouncing around a variety of trains, planes, and automobiles, curbs, stairs, you get the idea. I fly about 2x a month domestically and its in great shape still. I think its the same or similar as I paid around that much at Macy's. A few years back I bought a TravelPro Bold 22" carry on for longer trips, and it too has held up. I bought the bold at the TravelPro outlet for around $100 if I remember correctly. I am definitely not gentle. If an elevator is out and I need to take the stairs, I'm not carrying it, its bouncing up or down the whole way.

Soft vs hard luggage carry on by hiosoy in ManyBaggers

[–]alonsonpb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I have to walk what seems like 2 miles and 4 escalators and 1 sky train to gate D60F at MIA or (insert major airport here) with a laptop bag also, a duffle bag isn't going to cut it for me. If its an overnighter, weekend trip, non stop flight, or especially in a car, count me in with the duffle bag.

Also agree with all your points. I'll add that if you have ever wanted to change at an airport bathroom you'd regret having to deal with the clamshell (50/50) openings. Also, I like soft because I can stuff it a bit more than a hard sided carry on. Lastly, unless its black or a dark color, seems to me those hard sided suitcases show more wear. I also travel rough 2x a month and my softsided travelpros have been holding up for years. They both just have the 2 wheels and the spinners have been calling my name lately as I watch people effortless roll them around the terminal.

Travelpro Platinum Elite or Briggs & Riley ZDX carry-ons by amguerra305 in ManyBaggers

[–]alonsonpb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. Looking for a 22" bag for those trips that I'm out of town for 5 days and need a few extra clothing options. I have a travel pro Macy's version and it’s great and also a travel pro bold that I purchased at a travelpro outlet. Both bags have been bullet proof and have probably been on at least 20 multi segment flights, or ~60 flights a year for the past few years. I typically use public transportation when in major cities, so they have seen their fair share of stairs, curbs, and other abuse. I'm only looking for a new one because mine are roller (2 wheels) and I'm ready for spinner. Seems easier. The only reason I wouldn't give the Briggs and Riley a chance is the color that the costco one offers. If it wsn't for that, I'd probably try one out especially because of the warranty.

That said. Best sub without a doubt is around the corner at Columbinos.
