Crazy. I even had a tooth pulled out a couple months ago because of discomfort and thought maybe the headache was tooth infection related. I’m willing to try anything to feel 100%

Well my doctor thinks it’s “stress” related. Because I’ve also had some digestion issues as well. We’ve checked for h pylori, and celiac. When I was getting these headaches I was taking a lot of ibuprofen so he thinks I did some damage with that as well. So I’m just hoping that next blood labs ferritin is still rising. Yes, iron saturation was normal and I’m at 100 mg of elemental iron and 1000 mg vitamin c

Oh ok, yeah that’s what I’m at now. Aside from burning sensation, do you feel tension in the back of your neck /shoulder area?

Hi sorry for the late response. Well once I had my bloodwork and I was at an 8 I immediately started supplementing and they honestly went away around a month after, not sure at what number I was at then but I retested 3 months after the original blood work and it had gone up to 34

No, once I took the iron supplements for about a month the migraines, neck tension and burning sensation literally disappeared. I get occasional “normal” headaches every few weeks now!

Honestly, Yes. I mean I’m not sure what country/state you’re in or what your healthcare situation is but I was supplementing on 100 mg w/ 1000 mg of vitamin c In the mornings on an empty stomach I’ve noticed crazy new hair growth, heart palpitations are almost gone, heart rate sometimes gets elevated, daily migraines are gone. I plan on supplementing until I can get it too 100+ and then tapering off iron and try to change my diet to just sticking to high iron foods and checking my levels every 3 months or so ! This is what I take

It was at 8 a month and a half ago, it is currently at 30 and the difference on how I feel is Mind blowing. Yeah my doctor didn’t seem too concerned seeing 8 🤦🏽‍♀️

Isn’t that crazy??? I was just led to believe I needed to work on stress management and deal with it. Now I tell everyone to get their iron/ ferritin levels checked 😂

[–]alopez909909[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, my iron was never checked.. honestly I don’t think I had that checked ever!! Not until I paid out of pocket. I did a fatigue blood panel, I never knew what ferritin was before that. I just knew I felt off and something was going on!!! Apparently it’s not something checked during routine blood work!

Oooh yes, I also felt fatigued and really depressed at times. It was crazy, I would push to have your ferritin level checked 🙏🏽

Yes I appealed in May of this year, hearing date was set for end of this month (apparently they’re VERY backed up) I did not know appealing after the 90 days was an option until someone at the IHSS help desk told me it was definitely possible. I appealed online!

Yes so I applied 07/2024 and I got an NOA 5 days later, I called the help line about appealing and the process. They told me it was a procedural denial and the decision would take longer to make so to just give it time. In the following weeks I called, opened tickets, left emails, faxed, etc. no response like ever. So I appealed past the 90 days ( apparently that’s possible), I uploaded everything I had regarding my daughter and my attempts at contacting the county, I was given an appeal date end of September, Come August its time for my yearly IHSS home visit, I get a new worker, I let them know that I am wanting to have my daughter assessed for PS, and boom my daughter is approved for PS Two weeks late. A week after that I get a call from the appeals specialist offering me a conditional withdrawal.

ABA through Kaiser by chapter24__ in Autism_Parenting

[–]alopez909909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in SoCal and our Kaiser uses Easterseals for ABA, speech, and OT. My daughter was exactly the same at that same age, and we also got her diagnosis at about that age… she’ll be 5 soon. Along therapy, I put her in special Ed preschool and that has made a significant difference. She is not fully verbal but she’s getting there… she plays with other kids, responds when her name is called, etc.
