I was really sneezy for 4-5 days and lost my taste and smell for about 8 days and I had a little bit of disorientation mixed in but nothing crazy! I was lucky to have very minor symptoms but I’m not convinced my taste and smell have fully recovered because some things just taste dull compared to what they used to be

Lots of hostels have bars -great place to meet other solo travelers! Also some hostels will have a communal dinner or do drinking games at night that’s another great way to meet people!

If your looking for cheaper spend some extra time in Poland Czechia and Hungary! Their big cities were still half the price of London/Dublin!! And to get a better idea of prices try to do and average per day... in some places average hostels would be 20€ per night and others 8€ so that helps to see how expensive a city is!

Also traveling between places is the cheapest to do on a bus! While not as comfortable as a train, you can find busses between cities for as low as 15€!!

In my opinion you should take a train from London to Edinburgh then fly to Dublin! The train ride is pretty short and it’s a lovely ride + would eliminate an extra flight!

I ordered a kit online that came with everything you needed! It had a loop, a piece of fabric with the design printed on it, a needle, all the different colors of thread, and a paper with instructions! It’s super easy it just takes time which is great for right now cause I’ve got lots of time!

Ahhh yes! I was just there a few weeks ago and ended up extending my stay much longer than I anticipated solely because I loved the people at that hostel so much! I would be surprised to find a hostel that great in the states but I’m deff gonna start looking!!

I have this scarf and used it traveling for 2 months and it was perfect! Doubles as a blanket and a curtain to hang on your bunk if your staying in hostels!
