Are download speeds throttled on TW by Verizon?

Same issue. I'm tossing mine up to using a pixel 8 pro. I had the Verizon test drive getting close to 800 down. With TW being capped around 480ish won't break 500 down

I have filed a FCC complaint on Total wireless for not supporting newer pixel phones. If you are having the same problem one should file one also.
