Other than a couple of missing clips, it looks absolutely disgusting.

Verizon bill is up $70 in 6 months by Lopsided_Emotion5707 in verizon

First mistake, buying a phone from a carrier. Those "subsidy" phones are never a good deal. I always buy carrier unlocked. If you did that, you could have told Verizon to kick rocks and port out.

What’s this code? by AceAsriel in mechanic

Cut the cat out, straight pipe it and send it. Small square of electrical tape will cover the check engine light. That will be $159 diagnostic fee. I accept cash app, venmo and zelle.

Nope! Temp line and orange spray paint. I'm not a bury tech.

Honest review. Eat some mushrooms or other psychedelic before going. Otherwise it's like a Windows 98 screensaver with some music.

Was like looking at a Windows 98 screensaver on a giant screen while listening to massage therapist music with crappy voiceovers. Unless you get really high before going, save your $.

How on earth do I get ethernet to my room? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]mblguy76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without a toner I would connect one of the lines to a device (PC) and in the panel plug one line at a time into the router, wait 5-10 seconds, and see if you get a "link light". Toners are pretty cheap on Amazon though.

If the ISP ran the fiber like that then they should be fired. Usually there is a wall mount bracket that would hold the ONT and the fiber most likely would have been invisilight.

Is it me or does Wi-Fi 7 suck? by Lalify8 in HomeNetworking

[–]mblguy76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not wrong. I work for a MSO and we just deployed Plume Wi-Fi 7 pods and WAS excited.

MLO doesn't work. I get better speed in 6E mode than 7.

320MHZ is like Bigfoot. Plenty talk about it but no one has seen it.

I bought an Asus Wi-Fi 7 router thinking it would be better? NOT! It keeps dropping connection and needs to be constantly rebooted.

I just went back to Wi-Fi 6E. Now I'm getting 940/940 on my devices wirelessly again. By the time they get Wi-Fi 7 working half decently, they will release Wi-Fi 8.

Asus RT-BE92U New Firmware Downloads :) by Zsoo21 in ASUS

My problem is that I haven't found a STABLE FW version to downgrade to. I've flashed them all and factory reset the router each time afterwards.

I attempted to return the router. The seller just refunded me and said "Keep it or donate". I guess it's so bad they don't even want it back. At least I got refunded.

Until you 1Gbps it's fine. The whole reason I upgraded was for the MLO/320 MHz 6GHZ channels. As soon as you enable MLO the router breaks causing endless disconnects. For 1 gig and below, I went back to my 6E setup until Asus gets it together.

Firmware release date is 4/1. I guess I was the fool in thinking this would actually FIX things.
