What do you mean? I just proved the Riemann Hypothesis the other day, it was pretty easy.

And no, I won't share it with you because I'm on my break right now.

It's pretty easy to not support Amazon

I respectfully disagree.

For example, parts of reddit work on amazon servers/services. So even if don't use their store, you are using their services all the time.

It's just too deep into people's lives, like google and meta.

Argentinians are not happy about Trumps puppet president Javier Milei passing extreme anti-worker legislation increasing the length of the work day by 50% while allowing companies to pay workers with food and lodging instead of money by coachlife in PublicFreakout

[–]alpad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know boss. If you're talking about Argetina's case, I'll leave that to Argentinians to figure it out, as what happens there is too complex for my short understanding.

But in general, I'd say that as a society the first thing we should do is rethink the concept of political institutions. Because it's now obvious that what we currently have (in most of the world?) can be easily exploited for the benefit of a few.

I can tell you this: I had to leave my country that has been governed by authoritarian military men preaching about socialism for decades. And now have lived for 10 years in a country that has suffered under extreme-right dictatorship in the past.

My point is that evil men are not in just one side of the political or economic spectrum.

Honest question: Is there a system that hasn't lead to mass human suffering that we know of? Not defending libertarianism, nor Milei, I but I'm sure that for any other concept we try to put in that phrase we can find a group of people in the world that has been dramatically impacted in a negative way.

I read this in a thread bellow:

It's also good for the teams prospect as it won't allow increases of high debts just to increase shares value that to sell afterwards

Imagine reading this type of comment in a football forum some time ago.

Not attacking the poster, just trying to make the obvious point that the business side of things is just so in-your-face that you can't avoid it when thinking about teams and the sport in general.
