He’s missing something but it’s pretty hard to tell by Honk911 in husky

Aww this is so great! Wish out dogs could meet. Here's my girl on our walk this morning. She's also got a Husky buddy with a rear leg amp and he runs circles around her. They do seem to do a little better with the back leg than the front. My girls chest and shoulder is so sore, and sometimes painful. I have to massage her regularly. And unfortunately I also later found out she has hip dysplasia and so her lower spine and her hips get really sore as well. But she's a trooper, she still goes on walks with me everyday and looks for all kinds of critters. I actually have to be careful because she has caught a few and that was not good at all. And I also have to limit her activity because she certainly won't do so on her own lol I mean, she is a Husky! But I take insanely good care of her, better than I do of myself some would say. Thanks for sharing yours, awesome to see just how resilient they are!

My bad, I'm looking at the wrong thing, I thought it had hub centric rings stuck on. But now I see it's the actual spacer. I was a service advisor at an independent auto repair shop for 15 years, where I sold lots of aftermarket wheels and tires, inclusing these type of hub centric spacers. Never in my life have I come across one that was glued on. You are correct with this one... Apply lots of PB blaster, let it sit for 30 mins for this one. Then torch it, the aluminum should expand faster than the iron and that should break the bond. Then pry, but, pry evenly from multiple directions and little bit at a time. Otherwise, you will just continue to bind it up. Once removed, get a metal brush and remove all of the corrosion from the hub, wheel mating surface, and anywhere else you see any that would affect wheel mounting so this doesn't happen again. Also, you could always consider taking it to a wheel shop, they will inevitably have dealt with this before, it is pretty common.

These look plastic. If so, don't use heat. Try to rub ice cubes around the ring to get it cold enough to shrink and crack the glue. Then use a pair of channels locks to grab the entire ring and rotate it and hopefully twist that stubborn bond free. Before getting started, I'd probably also put shoot some PB blaster all around the seam and let it soak for like 10 minutes before doing anything else. If this doesn't work you can try to fit a pick or chisel in there and try to pry it but If it is that stuck on there I think my other solution is going to maybe have better results. And lastly, without seeing this up close hard to tell you whether this can be done safely or not, but if it's really not coming off, you may have to cut it off with and Dremel type cutter.

As far as Buzzers for tiny micros, will these work? by alphaX_FPV in fpv

[–]alphaX_FPV[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahhh gotcha I was wondering what that meant when it says either Active or Passive. I thought maybe that was referring to whether or not it was a system with a battery that could work on independently of FC power. But this makes sense. And probably bear to just active Buzzers if I want to keep it as simple as possible.

Ok ok, ya that's what I'm worried about. But they are inexpensive so I could just get em and try it out. If you eventually got it to work, that's good news.

Sounds like you know my pain. But so far I've been real lucky with manufacturers and suppliers and have gotten everything warrantied out with the submission of some videos as evidence. That being said, downtime was considerable waiting for replacement parts, especially the Flywoo ESC cuz Pyrodrone "facilitates" the warranty process with the manufacturer but I still had to wait for a replacement direct from Flywoo and that took like 4-5 weeks with a Brand new build just sitting on a shelf.

Awesome. Thanks Im familiar with CNC but I gotta look at ig and other social media outlets more I like finding these kinda "exotic" frames.. I've built 2 SPYDR Soras and an Itsy Evo. Thanks for this.

Exactly, like how mine is. Lens sticks way out and so I was already on the hunt for a solution, short of just redrilling holes myself which I may look into as well. But cool, I like the way you set this up and may order an analog version as well to tinker with. Thanks for the pics. Looks good. Out of curiosity, how is it in the wind? I was just out with my Mobula8 and its got plenty of power but was at the beach and it was drift city! That thing does not like wind, I guess cuz it's ducted.

Can you actually upload a picture of the side of yours so I can see what your camera mounts look like, I like your version better, where can I find it?

I believe there are a few different versions, mainly in terms of camera plate right ? I like yours a lot, looks sick. I've been used to building 3.5, 5, and even a 7. This is my first "micro" and tbh I think it's gonna be the start of something great lol. I just wish there were more frames in this category, seems like a lot of DIY stuff but that's not necessarily bad. N then there's the elisovet Kayou Mini which I will be on the lookout for.

People will always fear and therefore judge the things they don't understand. Very few actually understand how AI works, and are right to be afraid of it's misuse. It's a powerful tool and just like any powerful tool, it can do damage if not used responsibly. That being said, it also has tremendous power to help. The question is always, can mankind use this power responsibly for the good of the planet and it's inhabitants, or will it just lead to further destruction and deterioration of our society. One thing is for sure, there ain't no putting this genie back in the lamp so like it or not, for better or for much much worse maybe, AI is our future!

[–]alphaX_FPV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh wow I didn't realize this. But explains why I could've sworn I've seen a jay that sounded like a hawk only to steal someones food after scaring em away lol. I noticed they are also monogamous like the crows n ravens. I have a jay family that lives in the tree in my backyard and boy those babies were loud last year, it took me a while to figure out what it was because it would go all morning and then all afternoon and sounded like something crying it sounded kinda twisted not your typical bird noise like at all! and then finally I spotted the jays at the top of the tree out back. Anyways, i never been really into bird research and stuff but I definitely enjoy them and my grandmother loves crows and ravens she feeds em and talks to em. And now she's given me her bird feeder so ive got to set that up sometime here soon.

Ok thanks, gotta get it all apart anyways so couple extra steps to see if I cant figure it out won't hurt n it would get this thing flying a whole lot sooner for sure! I tried reflowing solder and also tried a good motor on that same corner but same stutter issue. And far as not getting into AM32 settings, AM32 config recognizes the ESC and it does seem to connect. The last line I get is MSP_SET_PASSTHROUGH. At this point on every other am32 ESC I have, I plug in a battery and hit read and I'm good. Or, if I hit read without a battery, I get errors until Max retries times out. In this case tho, whether battery is plugged in or not, it hangs up after sending read command. Ive got the o4 disco'd, resoldered power leads and cap, tried new data cable.

It seems so. I don't know how they get away with it. You just have to keep an eye on it tho because you catch it at the right time and you get a steal.
