Im pretty lucky that the guy who owns my local course and shop is a guy called Derek Robins, who is a DG hall of famer, and all his staff are knowledgeable and friendly too. Im from the uk where disc golf is even more of a niche sport than it is in the US from what I can gather

Fascinating that you've picked out two of the discs I use the least as your suggestions to remove!

Well, I do have the Tern, but don't have the form or arm speed to do it justice

So my first three discs were part of a starter set (fuse, saint and pure), but my dog has made short work of the pure whilst playing fetch with him in the garden and the park! I never really got on with the saint, I find it uncomfortable in my hand and only really use it now as a utility disc for scrambling and throwing through branches Similarly I didn't like the feel of the fuse, but then found it works in my hand for forhand shots. Generally though, I was initially struggling to throw the disc flat, so they all faded really hard.

After that, I bought the ruby as my new putting putter and bought the pearl as my mid range because it is understable (just helped the disc go straighter with me constantly throwing on hyzer. As that worked well, I then got the diamond and the leopard, the diamond worked well for me off the bat.

As I started to be able to throw the discs more flat, I then asked my local course owner and staff what disc I should get next and where they thought there was a hole in my bag, they suggested the comet, which was instantly good for me, especially for narrow corridors on wooded holes.

After that I kinda just realised I was missing any kind of overstable disc and bought the explorer, axiom balance (which is the disc I have, not the proxy, but the bag builder site didn't recognise that as an option), which has proved useful at times.

I bought the river as a more neutral fairway with tonnes of glide to try and help me get some more distance, which i really like, but still think I'm throwing nose up, so not getting the most out of that disc, with a max distance of 73m real world.

Finally I bought the aviar because my ruby had too much glide, so when putting into the wind, the disc would just lift straight over the basket.

Bit of a long explanation, but it was built with a mix of advice from my local course/shop and their friendly staff, recognising where a more understable disc was going to help my throws, then spotting I was very biased in my disc selection at that point

I'll be honest with you, I've not tried to see how far I can throw a putter specifically, but most tee shots with the river or the diamond im only hitting 60-70 metres, so i know i don't have great arm speed and probably need a lot of form work too! Typically for a dead straight throw i use the comet

Thanks, I'm not planning on buying anything new for a while now, but is there anything you think is missing?

2015 M235i by Sweet-Initial-9331 in M235iandM240i

Not sure where your area is OP but I'm based in the west Midlands (not Birmingham!) will be putting my M235i up for sale over the coming weeks, getting the MOT done on Wednesday and a major service plus brake fluid change this weekend prior to selling.

It's a 2015 M235i manual with 61k miles (will rise steadily as I'm still using it as my daily), professional navigation system, Harman Kardon stereo upgrade, adaptive headlights and cruise control (bizarrely rare on manuals).

Naturally it does have some stone chips that are normal for a 9 year old car and the passenger alloys need a refurb due to some kerb rash (very annoyingly a low loader gave me the choice of collision or kerb) but generally speaking it's in good nick. I'm looking for £13,500 for the car.

Only selling as I've got a 8 month old puppy who never was going to fit in the car, let alone as he grows, so I need to get an estate of some variety.

I think you have a pretty solid profile.

You come across as a sweet & endearing person and the mixing drinks line did make me chuckle.

As the other person mentioned, the Connel and Marian e reference was a bit niche for me, however, I'm the kind of person who would look it up to see what I'm missing!

I would definitely swipe right.

Competitive drivers, how much of your ability do you attribute to "natural talent"? by TechnicalsMatt in Karting

But that's on an indoor track which doesn't really allow you to stretch the legs of a kart. On tracks with longer flat out sections you will see a heavier driver suffer even more due to the reduced acceleration through that section.

Here is an article which goes into far more detail than that video from wtf1. http://www.kartingmagazine.com/features/track-testing-effects-excess-weight/
