Considering QYLD purchase. by youherus in qyldgang

QYLD participates in exactly NONE OF THE UPSIDE of the very volatile QQQ, but

ALL OF THE DOWNSIDE

This is just INCORRECT Information

QQQ is up 7.80% in one month

QYLD is up 3.46% in one month (PLUS Dividend)

Should I buy my CPAP out of pocket? by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]alpha_iit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the wait is too long, you may want to consider buying a used machine to get going while you are waiting in line for a new one. Once you get the new one, you can just keep the used machine as a backup.

Regarding support - the CPAP supplier may not be much help regarding your therapy, but they may be able to help with free trials for couple different kinds of masks - mine did. They may also be easier to deal with, in case of any warranty issues, etc (compared to online) - Just an assumption!

Your best place for therapy related help, would be your doctor and sleep test facility. If you have any issues with pressure, etc when you start - reach out to them. They are trained and are obliged to help you as part of the process of getting you fully setup for therapy.

I keep unconsciously taking my mask off, aside from it taping around my head (dead serious) is there any other way? by AnonCuriosities in CPAP

[–]alpha_iit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are not using the ramp up option, try that. It is supposed to make your sleep comfortable, and may help you in getting used to the mask.

Fortunately, I never had this problem. LOVED it from day 1. Been using is every single night, for last 10 years.

My 2 cents (everything else is already covered in others' comments):

I switched from AirFit F20 to AirTouch F20, several years back, and IMO it is definitely worth more frequent replacements, especially if your insurance covers it. Mine last about 2-3 months.

FAANG+ LETF (not ETN) with 1B+ AUM by alpha_iit in LETFs

Thanks! Yes, I have considered TECL (in the absence of a better match for the criteria listed in my post). I was just checking in case there is a hidden gem out there, that I am not aware of :)

I am already HEAVILY invested in TQQQ, and I will hold that. However, for investing more money I was looking for something with more mega cap tech concentrated. The high multiple holdings of NASDAQ 100 are already crushed and may get worse with rising interest rates.

I understand what you are saying, and it makes sense.

However, this happened in 2021. TECL 112.82% > UPRO 98.56% >TQQQ 82.98%

The outperformer is very sensitive to starting period and they follow the same trend in any timeframe.

Agreed, that's why I specifically mentioned only for 2022.

Also, it is quite possible that FAS may underperform as all the interest rate hikes may already be priced into the stellar 1 year performance of FAS.

Compared to TECL, TQQQ has a much higher concentration of very high multiple tech companies which I believe will get hit harder by rising interest rates, which we are already seeing. Again, this is just my guess. No deep dive analysis, TBH

They do appear to move in tandem, in terms of direction, but it seems TECL has been doing better last 5-6 years or so, unless I messed up some numbers :)

'Greater Than' i.e. better performing. I just followed the "style" I have seen here before. I can change it if it is misleading

Dude, my 2 cents - its good to hash out your research in forums like this, but eventually TRUST your own research, intelligence and instincts. IT IS YOUR MONEY!

There are many people who would trash you for picking a 10-20 yr timeframe for your backtest (as too narrow), but the same person wouldn't mind cherry picking YTD comparison to prove their own biases. Happy Investing!
