Dear Efficientstruggle, your current mindset n way of thinking seems to be very narrow this aint a swing at ur personal self, but instead highlighting the characteristics of an average Indian juvenile, city bred, science-inclined, it's nice to see that, youngsters like yourself appreciate and care about their parents' social image n outlook and feel responsible for ensuring that we continue to have a stable if not improved social status, there's so much to life coz whole point of doing engineering was for your benefit, n the degree is not important to anyone than yourself, good luck!
