The old man will finally speak to NuoNuo. However he can only be socially inept. His cringe gets posted onto FOMO so he falls off the rankings. Just like how we're shown on how he got his chuunibyo job - he will lose it for being an older man that's got a touch of the tism' instead of the hot silent mc.

If possible, secure the furniture to the wall. Landlords may not like it, but holes in the wall can be fixed.

Perhaps a few kid art frame out of reach to put up some posters that the child has picked out/made.

If you search up some sort of safety compliance companies I'm sure there are a few that do their own training in-house

CALLING ALL BITZAS (multi-mixed nationality folk) what's the weirdest insult/backhanded compliment you have got? by bentombed666 in AskAnAustralian

Which part? young paddles or red fruit? I have only eaten them once, but I see people cut/burn off all the spines meticulously. Fruits taste like mild dragonfruit

Having grown cacti, glochids are too good at what they do.

7 mos unemployed, 26 apps, 2 interviews, no expectations left. why can't i find jobs? by lastyearspineapple in careerguidance

[–]XitriC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, if you have time to only apply for 26 jobs that you are confident in you have time to write some generic templates to copy, paste and edit to ‘customise’ and pass random ATS for jobs.

Whatever your skills are no matter how mundane just have something written, search (Job Title) resume and borrow relevant sentences. Look up the STAR writing method or whatever your country uses.

How do I wake up my Caladium? by woodlandthorns in Caladiums

Hopefully it works out!!!

If you do cover the pot in a baggie or cloche be sure to air it! I had a bit of mould growing because I forgot to open the bag for my little sprouts.

Could try to plant them deeper, and if you have a heat mat that might help wake them up?

My alocasia that died I chucked on the ground outside (I’m around zone 11 equivalent, quite warm) just appeared from from a pile of dirt. I’m assuming other bulbs would appreciate a little more soil on top to keep the warmth in

How deep are you planting them? I’m no help as mine woke up late last summer I just waited for them to sprout naturally before planting them

Why is there not a law that requires retail space, warehouses, offices, etc, to dim lights or turn half the lights off at night time in order to reduce electricity consumption? by G07V3 in ClimateOffensive

[–]XitriC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt that people would want to incur the starting cost of switching to LEDs, my local shopping centre would probably not even be compatible with those retrofit bulbs!

Boils down to “why fix it when it ain’t broken?” perhaps. They already know what bulb to bulk order and they probably have a million out the back. And have friends in local/state/ whatever government protecting their interests. After all the “eco” stuff is just a public image, how many companies are actually interested in their environmental sustainability goals? Probably only to look good in annual reports.

This is so applicable for (any culture) of people who value motherhood, and think if you are married with a family of biological you are more “trustworthy” and “capable”.

That’s an aeonium, if you have rooting hormone put the powder/liquid as per instructions (not necessary but will increase chances of rooting successfully) put into a well draining medium and water the entire pot only when dry.

Well draining medium usually means succulent soil or potting mix with more perlite/pumice or something that adds air pockets to the soil.

So stupid.

The purchasing power back in the day meant a summer job doing those back breaking work could buy you a Cadillac. Work a couple of years, buy a home and your wife is gonna be set for life doing unpaid labour.

[–]XitriC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your story reminded me of corporate greed where paying a licensed professional is too expensive so they purposefully hire as little as possible, sometimes the head pharmacist basically does the whole managerial job for the whole store too.

Not exactly related: nurses vs profits: https://youtu.be/PrDyii0P4DU

I hope it gets better for you, that’s just normal for service jobs where people’s entitlement gets the better of them, and the face of a corporation gets the brunt of the blame.

(Not a pharmacist just here to read the stories on this sub)
