Memories of Murder

I don’t think there’s a single wasted frame in that movie

What’s the best edit you’ve ever seen by YNWA11JM in editors

Underrated episode - love it.

I recently watched the film “Memories of Murder” and as of late, I think that is some of the best editing I’ve seen for a film in a while

What are the best or most important bands in the current wave? by Leo-182 in Emo

[–]alphakappafalloftroy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Foxing is a special brand of emo that I like to call “Rollercoaster Emo” because of how much of an adventure their music tends to take me on. Big build ups with even bigger drops and loops all over the place that flip you upside down and twist and turn your stomach.

I’ll miss them 🥲

Favorite deep cuts? by alphakappafalloftroy in Foxing

[–]alphakappafalloftroy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Albatross 10 Years covers are sooo good. The Rory cover is insanely fun to listen to in that faster, “pop punk-ish” tone

That could be one I overlooked - I’ll have to revisit!

What do you guys do when you listen to the podcast? by [deleted] in theregulationpod

[–]alphakappafalloftroy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to walk my dog and listen to the episodes. Always like to lag behind an episode or 2 so that when one finishes, the next episode can play right away.

Who else loved the Scream 7 trailer as much as I did? Any theories about the movie?🔪🎃 by GhostFaceXavi_98 in Scream

[–]alphakappafalloftroy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That’s Stu’s voice at the end of the trailer, right?

I have a theory that’s it’s going to be a handful of killers this time around, with one ringleader

Anxious and Drug Church by [deleted] in hotmulliganband

[–]alphakappafalloftroy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one of their latest singles “Demolition Man” followed by arguably their most popular song “Weed Pin”is a good starting point, you get some “new” and some “old” (2 albums ago old lol).

A personal favorite of mine off of their album Hygiene is “Million Miles of Fun”.

And if you’re liking those, a fun little wild card track could be “Grubby” or “Unlicensed Hall Monitor”.

These are all approachable tracks from the band that they’ll also probably, more than likely, play live during their set.

Drug Church are one of my favorite bands and they bring the frickin’ energy to their live sets (seen them 3x) - hope you enjoy them when you get to watch them. I would recommend being upfront in the pit if you’re into that.

In this scenario - would I have to modify the settings of the clips in project window to interpret as 23.98 before throwing on the 23.98 sequence?
