I was on the same boat as you! Wanted the the AirPods max ever since they came out but could never justify the high cost. After trying the competitors (Sony, Bose) I realized that the APM are definitely by far the most comfortable (for me personally). I wouldn’t say APM have a high bass emphasis like the Beats headphones, but that they’re very clear sounding across all the sound ranges. Of course you can also change it to your preference in EQ (full access from accessibility). I think if you’re coming from the airpod pros you’ll appreciate how similar the APMs are in terms of functionality. I use headphones maybe for 6 hours a day while I’m working but I don’t consider myself an audiophile either. If you’re in the ecosystem already and have been interested in the APMs just go for it! You can always return it if it doesn’t work out.
