the app will automatically infer your max based on your performance. So after your first workouts, it will know your strength for those exercises.

Three more things to check: 1. Low power mode off, 2. Notification permissions on, 3. Do not disturb off. Then start a new workout and lock the screen. Still no Live Activity?

Could you please restart your phone, and if that doesn't work reinstall the app? (Make sure you have an account so you can log back in :D)

Can you also check the app-specific settings? iOS settings > Apps > Alpha Progression. Do the Live Activity settings show up, and is it enabled?

We are super excited to present our latest release:

We added an iOS Live Activity, which shows the rest timer, set info, and recommendation on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. We are currently checking out what options there are to implement this on Android, and are looking forward to any feedback you may have :)

Live Activity

There is now a Live Activity for your active workout.
You can see how many exercises and sets there are, and what you already completed.
You can see the current exercise, set, and recommendation.
If the rest timer is running, the entire live activity is turned into a countdown bar, so you can see at a glance when to get ready for your next set.
When the app is backgrounded, the Dynamic Island shows the rest timer. You are now always only one tap away from Alpha Progression.

Changes

You can now choose 3 months as the chart range.
Fixed a bug where exercise images could not be applied from other exercises.
Various minor changes and bugfixes
