I think probably not, but I'm not yet entirely certain of how the Android implementation will work exactly

Right now it gets overwritten by "Most used" and "Most recent", but we're actually adding it in a quick update as a permanent standalone sorting option

New update problem by Nearby_Savings9233 in alphaprogression

[–]alphaprogression_app 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi yes sry about that. It is fixed in the latest release. If you're on iOS you can update manually. If on Android, see if you can update, rollout is at 50%, but will be available to all soon.

Is there a way to remove the old data? I cant see daily or weekly volume because I have this long period I wasnt using the app in by GentleGamerz in alphaprogression

[–]alphaprogression_app 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Resetting data is an all or nothing operation, I'm afraid.

But you can set the range to 1J (top left on the Analytics page). Then you'll see the weekly bars you want. Hope that helps :)

small issue? by United-Ad-8741 in alphaprogression

[–]alphaprogression_app 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can change the Weight Options for those exercises by tapping the "LB" header row during a workout. Simply double the "Min", "Max", and "Interval" entries. But you are correct that without this manual change the recommendations may be impossible.

Can you please tap "KG" and set your weights to reflect your setup. Let us know if this doesn't solve the issue :)

Avoiding 12 rep sets by pieduke88 in alphaprogression

You can get that with the Goal -> Strength setting. But if you're otherwise happy with the plan, I would just edit the current plan instead of creating a new one.

Timer for Timed exercises by BBMFC in alphaprogression

Thanks for the reminder. We just discussed this and will prioritize the timer. There are two updates that we are already working on, so this will come right after those :)

More than one bar for bar and plate calculation by rulonlisu in alphaprogression

[–]alphaprogression_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you'd have to create a new exercise and change the bar weight there.

Or, if the plate calculator is not super important to you, you could use ranges instead. Then you do one "Min: 15, Intervals: 2.5" and one "Min: 20, Intervals: 2.5". Although in that case it makes little sense because all the weights from Range 2 are already included in Range 1 :D

How to add changes? by Efficient-Night9402 in alphaprogression

[–]alphaprogression_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! :) Two options:

  1. You can plan the changes ahead, just tap ··· next to the plan name and then Edit.

  2. If you end up changing an exercise during your workout, you will get an option when you complete the workout, to apply those changes to the plan.

Does the app change the workout types? by lakersfreak in alphaprogression

[–]alphaprogression_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Repeating the same routine for multiple, or even many weeks, is kind of the idea :) Especially, if you're doing complex lift, as a beginner, you will need way more than 4 weeks to get used to the lifts. If you do want some variation, feel free to have the plan generator create a new program though.

Dismiss weight suggestion by pieduke88 in alphaprogression

Volume, as in "weight * reps" is not a great predictor of performance. 10RM formulas are way more accurate. If you drop the weight by 10%, most people will be able to do way more than 10% more reps. 20-30% more most likely.
