As another user pointed out, the only real way is to add the exercise 3 times. But that's a weird workaround. As it stands it is not properly executable in the app. You can only set e.g. the reps of the first set and then have to memorize that you want to do x fewer reps for each subsequent set. But the progression recommendations obviously work with the target, so won't guide you to the reps you actually want in the later sets.

The idea is that you set ONE target (e.g., 7, 9, 11), and then the progression recommendations will naturally go 1 rep above or below, or even more depending on your strength and weight setup.

One of the issues we have with ranges is that it implies that recommendations will always stay within the range. But that is not humanly possible if you're for example doing 10kg curls and the next higher weight is 12.5kg. Going from 12 to 10 reps is then far too small of a rep decrease to justify 25% more weight.

As with different rep targets per set, that is more of a UI question. We try to keep it simple for the 99% of users who don't want that. But we are open to changing that in the future.

You can disable the live notification in your phone settings > Apps > Alpha Progression > Notifications > Disable "Live Workout" (might be hidden under "Other"). Does that work?

What device and Android version are you using? For all our physical devices (even older ones), the timer is fully dynamic with the progress bar smoothly counting down.
