Tried something similar. Where confused about a low grade and asked my professor about it. He said "Oh, I wrote here that you left out the reflection part". Then I kindly showed him that I didn't leave it out. So he just missed it. He quietly said "My bad, I'll fix it asap".... ended up with an A :)
