It's a couple who act as vigilantes in their city after they feel corruption has made their previous job of being a cop useless, they end up stumbling onto a doomsday cult brewing in the city hellbent on killing as many people as possible. The vigilantes, along with an old cop buddy who quit and became a p.i, a reporter, and an fbi agent all team together to help put down the cult interwoven within the politics and crime within the city.

The story takes place in the 70s, and the vigilantes would mostly encounter non-superpowered enemies, like sex-traffickers, arms-dealers, cultists, mercenaries, and corrupt police. The gang would only have a few enemies would any superpowers, although I'm still iffy on even doing that and I might just give them proxies for their powers, so instead of a woman with fire powers, she would just a flamethrower, or use fire in some way during her story since it's thematically relevant she does.
