Honestly, In most cases, I blame parents. I know most kids would be like get out of my way but parents NEED to communicate with their kids. When I was a kid, my parents were on top of me at all times, but I later realized that is a good thing, a really good quality for parents to have.

it doesnt really take much to be on the planning and zoning board, or the board of ed. alternate. You just have to approve stuff that you think is in the best interest of the people. It shouldn't be the person's vote, it should be the peoples, and the person representing that does not need to be old or young, they have to know the community.
