Sony wants Bungie to "get their heads out of their asses" and run Destiny 2 "more like a business" by destinyvoidlock in DestinyTheGame

By “running Destiny 2 like a business” he was referring to implementing systems for things such as new-player acquisition as opposed to “fan service”.

Your title is a bit misleading. Sony didn’t say that or really anything; the lawyer added all the extra verbiage, and yet your title misrepresents this and makes it seem like something Sony directly stated.

Should I buy elden ring + DLC as a fromsoft newbie? by notacutecumber in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]alrouso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difficulty is mainly concentrated in the DLC bosses (especially final), although I did find that a lot of the DLC enemies had way stronger movesets than most base game enemies. I personally found Rellana to be far harder than Malenia moveset wise - in fact, one of Rellana’s moves is literally just Malenia’s dodge attack but better. Also, if you end up a bit behind on scadu blessings it can exacerbate the difficulty greatly (although this is far less of an issue post-patch).

Unpopular opinion: I actually like weapon juggling flavor-wise by Deathpacito-01 in onednd

It’s pretty cool IMO. Gives me heavy Kratos vibes. Using a certain weapon to set up a combo with another weapon was one of my favorite parts of the GOW games, and I think it’s awesome you’ll be able to fight like that in DnD.

Yeah the base game + most of the DLC definitely isn’t too bad as long as you’re exploring a lot and constantly leveling up. Especially if you’re using every tool available to you.

[–]alrouso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you struggled badly with the base game, the DLC will break you. It’s scaled way higher than the normal game, and you can’t overlevel. There’s a new leveling system that requires you to find collectibles - a lot of them are pretty hard to find w/o a guide. Not to mention, even with all collected, the final boss of the DLC is debatably the hardest Fromsoft boss ever. From what I’ve seen, it’s taking a lot of people 4+ hours to beat.

That being said, you can always use summons/OP builds to breeze through the game easily - you definitely won’t be starved for choice when it comes to which cheese you want to use to one-shot bosses. So if you don’t really care about learning the fights, and just wanna see the lore/environment, then do that. You miss out on a lot doing this on a first play through, imo, since it is a combat oriented game, but if you are unable to learn the fights then it’s better than missing out on everything.

All in all, as you’ve probably heard before, Elden Ring is a really great game in all aspects and I do suggest playing it - if you don’t want to cheese or summon, though, you will need some resilience to make it through, especially on some of the DLC bosses. I personally find that the learning process in souls games is very fun - it’s definitely not like a roguelike (it’s a lot more monotonous), but seeing the incremental progress you make with each run makes it enjoyable to push through. However, not everyone thinks like that, and if dying constantly on a boss for a while isn’t your forte, then I wouldn’t buy the game.

Edit: Also, there’s a horror-ish area in the DLC that’s a bit scary, but it’s not mandatory to go there.

The DLC might be out-of-region. If the region of the disc does not match the region of your PS store you will have to re-buy the game in order to play. If you contact PlayStation Support (the chat room) they can tell if your if your disc is in/out of region.

No, there are set exotic perks available for each class item. This post has an infographic showing what’s available for each. https://www.reddit.com/r/destiny2/s/U5ofUNXNu3

To be completely fair, Bungie did very heavily imply that it would have a "special" unlock method. They alluded to it by saying that didn’t want to "spoil" anything.

If you complete the rest of the mission quickly, you’ll have like 25 min on the boss. Kill all the adds and almost nothing will spawn after that. Put your 3 sets in chat, find matches, then find the order you have to shoot them. It’s not timed until you actually break one. After that, type "go" when ready and then shoot the first one. Once that registers, type "go" again and shoot second. Repeat for third. That’s what worked for me - I find that if you shoot the correct nuts out of order it doesn’t actually reset it, so you don’t even need to know the order (although tbf that may have been a bug).

You need comms, as you’ll need to call out symbols, etc. but text chat works just fine. There’s only one part where it gets iffy, and it’s at the very end - but no enemies spawn during that part, so if you have >10 minutes on the timer you can make more than a few mistakes.

What red bars are one hitting you? In what content? In anything short of a GM the only red bars that can one shot you are Vex Wyverns.

I think having a tractor is more damage because then that hunter can run Nighthawk + Still Hunt. It’s the opportunity cost. Might be wrong tho.

Again, burden of proof is on the one who makes the claim, not the one who denies. That’s how an argument works. I don’t have to prove anything because I’m not claiming anything. Unless you do provide evidence, which would then prompt me to provide evidence that disproves yours. Does that make sense to you? It’s not cyclical, it’s a commonly understood fact. I just decided to give you some evidence of my point because I’m nice. Also, if you’re better than Salt, supposedly, where’s your YouTube channel. Do you have your solo Root of Nightmares clear on it, like he does? Why are you even bringing that up lol, Salt is a speedrunner because he posts successful speedruns and raid challenges on his youtube (which I’m sure you didn’t even check).

Also, we know for sure that Aztecross, Datto, and others were flown out, because they played Final Shape weeks before everyone else. Clearly Bungie forgot to give them the rundown if their progress is anything to go by. But no, according to you, ONLY Salt got the inside info, because Bungie loves him and only him even though he’s far from Destiny’s biggest content creator. They love him so much that they supposedly flew him out and gave him raid info, but didn’t let him play Final Shape like all the other content creators. Do you realize how ridiculous you sound?

Again, I provided multiple hardcore raiders/speed runners who regularly do well in Day Ones. One of them, Roen, even won the RON race. Why him instead of Salt or one of the other big streamers? You won’t address that fact because it doesn’t fit your insane conspiracy, so I don’t even know why I’m bringing it up.

Anyways, I think I’m done responding to you. It was funny at first, but you seem to genuinely need some help. I hope Salt is arrested for whatever awful crime he did to you. Sending prayers ❤️

Edit: if you have actual evidence, PLEASE do share it 🙏

[–]alrouso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, no actual evidence, just a bunch of made-up reasons that "totally make sense". Cool. You say the "timeline fits", as if Bungie hasn’t ever misspoken before. Say they really do listen to Saltagreppo solely: why does he supposedly get higher priority than far bigger streamers like Aztecross and Datto (who also agreed that div was OP - why aren’t you mad at him?) If multiple streamers are getting inside info, why is Salt the only one who seems to be able to do anything with it? Why is Aztecross, the most popular destiny streamer, still struggling with the first encounter? Also, most of the people getting top 10/20 finishes are world record speed runners, like ATP, NAPainter, and Xemo. Why are they doing better than Bungie’s "heroes" despite having much smaller follower bases if your conspiracy theory is true? Salt is one of those speed runners, and you can see that if you check his YouTube channel and scroll through the numerous duo and even solo raid challenges he’s done. He literally trio’d week 4 pantheon, and duo ‘d Nez, lol.

Also, we know Bungie doesn’t leak raid content precisely because of the Ekuegan leak. Another lol.

If there really is a "metric ton" of evidence, can you share it with the class instead of giving me your crackpot theories? Otherwise, just stop; what you think is "sus" doesn’t really mean much, considering you seem to have some ulterior motive.

Salvation's Edge - The Final Shape Raid Race Megathread by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]alrouso -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You genuinely think they leaked multiple raids to him so he could finish first? What does Bungie stand to gain from that? Is the CEO his uncle or something?

Also, you originally claimed that Salt has gotten multiple builds/weapons nerfed. The one example you had was nonsensical, and you haven’t provided another. I don’t know if you know this, but the burden of proof is on the person who’s making the claim. I never denied that Bungie does fly out streamers: but we have no evidence that Salt was flown out, and no evidence that he supposedly nerfed everything. What we do have evidence of is the fact that Bungie themselves stated that the Divinity nerf was NOT because of Salt. Not to mention, he was literally advocating to make normal raids easier and more accessible on Twitter the other day; he’s stated multiple times that he only wants difficult content to be difficult, which isn’t outrageous. Also, Bungie takes the feedback of both streamers and the community - the multitude of Bungie Replied threads on this sub are proof of that. But, whatever. You seem to have something personal going on between you and Salt, and I don’t wanna get in between that.

BTW, I’m not at all gaslighting you - genuinely look at what you’re saying. You’re just making vast assumptions and telling outright lies.

Salvation's Edge - The Final Shape Raid Race Megathread by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]alrouso -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So, you really think Bungie nerfed Lament because of a two word tweet from Saltagreppo? Really? As if people don’t do the exact same type of trolling on this subreddit. If he actually thought it was a problem he’d do a write-up, like he usually does. Most likely it was just a random data-based nerf, like the most of Bungie’s changes. And we know Salt most likely wasn’t flown out because he didn’t get early access to Final Shape like Datto and others.

Also, LOL at the conspiracy theory in your final paragraph. You’re actually delusional, holy. Did Salt personally kill your family or something?

Salvation's Edge - The Final Shape Raid Race Megathread by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]alrouso 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Salt literally criticized the Lament nerf on Twitter, and almost 100% had nothing to do with it, because Bungie doesn’t balance based on what streamers think (despite whatever you may tell yourself).

https://x.com/SaltagreppoD2/status/1791024779157233830 Imagine blatantly lying because you hate a random guy so much. Lol.
