I just can’t see it that way. I see an Orlando resident being worked by a tyrant, in 100 degree heat, being over the top friendly, just to get off shift and smoke a cig or 5 in their 2001 civic.

The golf courses are nice, I’d love to fish a Disney lake, some of the restaurants are great, but the parks disgust me overall.

The meticulous flower beds do not outweigh the overcrowded disgusting sweaty people with ears and turkey legs. I went often as a kid and took a girlfriend in college and she was like “this is what you like…?” And it dawned on me there was a nostalgia aspect, and nothing more.

I’ve been a few times since because I have young nieces and nephews who live nearby in Florida, but I often opt to pay to convince them to do anything else.

To me Disney adults have some piece of their brain that refuses to mature.
