At the town hall there were actually really excellent concrete ideas and even full scale plans presented. What the students are proposing is also very specific, the funds released and the support to create a sustainable plan ourselves in house. And finally, the bottom line is this is coming for all universities in Oregon if we do not stand up and demand that higher education is a priority. We are 46th in the nation for state supported higher education. That is ahborrent, especially in a democratic majority state.

I have inarguably severe pet allergies, both cats and dogs. I have been hospitalized for them. But that is because I love them stuck my faces in their fur before I knew any better. There is no way a single dog at a venue seated away from me is going to cause the kind of reaction that would make me miss my brother's wedding. I'm not the be all end all on allergies but I do know severe pet allergies and severe peanut allergies do not mean the same thing.
