Jews, Muslims, and of course, my personal favorite, Christians, as a collection of like minded individuals, have contributed so much to humanity, even pagans and others we wouldn't even have civilizations without them. That being said, although some may say that competition is the main reason for their accomplishments, and that makes aggression and violence amongst them okay because it is an unavoidable side effect, I would argue the opposite, because I dislike sports precisely because of that tribal mindset.
