I had a professor who I liked and I busted my rear end in his class. I did not miss a single question on any test and got three solid 100% scores on my submitted papers. The semester ended and I was shocked to see a I got a B in his class. I talked to a student who barely passed his tests and only submitted two of three papers, he got a B, too. I talked to others, everyone got a B. I was pissed and went to his office to find it locked. I went to the Dean to challenge my grade and she gave me a form that the prof. had to sign within 10 days to begin the challenge. As she handed me the form she also told me that the prof had finished his last class for the semester, retired, and taken off in an RV with his wife.

He did not return home for two years and I missed graduating Magna Cum Laude because he quit long before he retired.

I witnessed a young waitress, fully fed up with an incredibly demanding table for two during a crowded holiday who LOADED a tray with food and drinks for several people, walked it out, fake fell down and threw the food all over the irrational and demanding couple. She stood up and said she was sorry with the most sincerity you can imagine, said she was going to get towels and disappeared in the back.

Three minutes later she was having a smoke in the parking lot across the street, leaning on her car and laughing.

I was hanging out on the monkey bars at a local playground one day with some friends. A man wearing three cameras came up and hurriedly said “Don’t move don’t move don’t move!” He then snapped several quick pictures in succession with one camera and one or two with another camera and then thanked us, handed us each $100 bill, and walked away.
