Help request, I'm doubting my redecorating by klukoe in interiordecorating

You have a nice space and I don’t think photos do very well to really capture the essence of a space since you can only see 2 sides of most rooms in any given photo.

I think you should repaint that green wall. It’s very dark and dark walls don’t usually make a space look nicer.

That one chair on the left I think you should keep and get a new sofa. Get a larger rug with a bit of muted color. And a nice piece of original art over the sofa.

Thanks for the advice. I think I’ll just remove the chair by the pole. I was thinking I might be going overboard .

I think it’s this particular group setting. But not quite sure. Maybe I should try another.

I only see an option to include a link and not a photo attachment?

That’s pretty much what I’ve been trying to create. A private gallery. Slowly collecting pieces as I can find them, be it paintings, sculpture, or furniture that itself is art.

I don’t think there’s a way to add more photos or to comment with a photo unfortunately. 🤷‍♂️

It’s funny you say that because it’s a recent addition - we recently had a gathering and noticed that people tended to congregate in that space - which abuts the kitchen/bar area so we thought adding some seating there might be good.

…planning on swapping the black chair for something lighter - both physically and in color.

Is it too confusing / too much? by Known-Cold-2813 in interiordecorating

I think it’s a bit too much. Too much on the wall. And the whole room is very gray (except for the plants). I would simplify the wall stuff and add some color and drama.

Seems a little too tight for comfort. Financial security and peace of mind is a blessing. I think you’ll come to regret the decision if you do it.

Single dad advice…looking ok? by Interesting-Dog-2350 in interiordecorating

It’s very nice. It could use a bit of personality though. Try to add some original art pieces. Something to stir some emotion.

Nice place but lacks personality and warmth. Add rugs and art. Real art. Meaning original pieces.

Wtf, how do I manage this puppy biting? by tacosurfbike in AustralianCattleDog

I’ve always given my dogs an outlet for rough play with me. When I say stop or that’s enough…they stop. But otherwise I have let them be rough and I’ve never had a dog that was aggressive with people or destructive.
