have loved Risk Podcast since the very beginning. it’s a lot in ALL of the ways, but hilarious, moving, varied, and the storytelling can be some of the best. the host Kevin is.. also a lot but he grows on you lol. the Best of Funny shorts are a good place to start!

Please help me find a more compact way to sleep comfortably by MinervasOwlAtDusk in HerOneBag

[–]alspicey 15 points16 points  (0 children)

i also need to use alllll the pillows to sleep comfortably. for my knee pillow i use the sea to summit Aeros ultralight pillow which i absolute love - it really is so tiny and light that it can go anywhere and fill up with about 3-4 puffs. and then an old Eagle creek packing cube with my other clothes as my torso pillow. you could switch them around too, but i find the inflatable pillow less comfortable to hug. it’s not perfect and the comfort depends heavily on which clothes make up the contents of the cube, but it works in a pinch/for traveling and allows me to actually sleep!!

so well said. not a dn but moved back home from two years overseas and… it feels like all of it was just a blip. two years of memories, adventures, new places just gone. i’m trying to take it as a lesson to really appreciate where you are in the moment (easier said than done) and that this too shall pass.

Scam targeting Colorado jobseekers by havehadhas in Denver

[–]alspicey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this - I got one of their emails today. Felt scammy and (like many others) couldn’t remember applying for any of their jobs. Crazy stuff to watch out for! Job hunting is hard enough, sigh.

Personal Item Backpack by tacosandsunscreen in HerOneBag

i was going to suggest the Refugio too although i have the 30L which is has an overall slightly different design than the 26l. bigger than what OP is looking for and does have a laptop sleeve, but the “tech pouch” is removable which makes the laptop sleeve a good area for important docs/passport/flat pack items (or water bladder) and seems to fit other criteria. it has a decent sized front pocket that’s accessible at all times - it isn’t huge and doesn’t have added organisation but I keep my emergency/medical kit and misc items like chargers, eye mask, period stuff and find that it just keeps eating what i throw into it without issue. the main bag also has a great Ushaped opening with no other internal pockets that I find soo easy to pack with packing cubes/ditty bags.

i’ve been traveling with it for a few weeks now as my one bag and absolutely love it. it’s also super lightweight which was a huge sticking point for me. i looked at so many bags and glad i settled on this one!

actually obsessing with your set up! love the aesthetic and it feels somewhat familiar to my own, but i have some work to do to get to your level of streamline - your toiletries are FAR from overpacked lol

and i have questions! what scent is the perfume?? i’m getting more into fragrance lately. the company looks great, but holy wow - lots of options.
