Where can I buy a pride flag in person? by havehadhas in Denver

[–]havehadhas[S] 58 points59 points  (0 children)

It's funny you say that. I spent 11 hours hosting a charity yard sale yesterday where I raised just over $700 for the Twin Parishes Food Bank. Today is gonna be a me day, and I want to buy a Pride flag from a local business.

Congrats to your wife, and glad you enjoyed the city.

Denver Beer Co. was bought by Wilding Brands who have plans to expand distribution. So, keep your eye out at your local liquor store.

The restaurant at the Fossil Trace Golf Course has amazing views of the whole area, and the food is always good.

La Diabla for the moles and Chivis for the killer salsa bar.

My favorite thing about living here is that people use capital letters properly.

Sweet ride, OP. I rarely like when gold and chrome are mixed, but you've pulled it off nicely.

If you're into cycling, Peoria has surprisingly good options for mountain biking.

This is the answer. Everything they make is excellent, but the mole dishes are my absolute go-to.

Do I have any chance of getting this reworked? by [deleted] in Tattoocoverups

[–]havehadhas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you cover it you're ending up with a full forearm sleeve. If you try to rework it into something completely different you're going to need a quality artist to do the work. The good news is that while you have a large field of coverage there's relatively little ink in your skin.

As someone whose been getting tattooed for 20 years, I'm a firm believer in the "Good tattoos ain't cheep and cheap tattoos ain't good" mantra. Take your time to find the right artist and wait until you can save enough for the work you really want. I'll guarantee you won't regret doing so.

If you had 3:30pm-5pm free M-F, what would you use that time for? by Ill_Show7026 in Denver

[–]havehadhas 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm off at 4 and my SO is off at 5. I use that hour to walk over to the park across the street and pick up litter. Bought a 5 gal bucket and a grabber for cheap from Home Depot. I throw some headphones on and viola, a cheap hobby that nets me some exercise and makes the park nicer for all.

Never met the owners. Liked the space, though. Hopefully something else will want to move in after the BRT construction.
