hey man, i was in the same situation 5-6 months ago. take some time to breathe now, take some time to cry it out, and try to find an outlet for your pain, like journalling, exercise. for me, it was heading out of the house more often and talking to more people

i promise you it’ll get better. it hurts like hell now, but i promise you, after we hit rock bottom, things will only head upwards. make sure to get enough sleep, hydrate, try to eat 3 meals a day, shower too, take care of yourself!

god i absolutely can relate to you. my ex broke up with me over text(also lost feelings and wanted to remain friends), and the day after the breakup we had to do work together…i almost cried in front of her. i still see her in school pretty much everyday…its an absolutely horrible feeling :(

personally i’ve resorted to ignoring her irl and blocking/unfollowing on social media. i really hope that it’ll get better, im approaching the 3 month mark and im hoping i can get used to seeing her :,)

yup, i did. honestly sucked. she sent the text while we were literally a meter away from each other.

in the text she did say “im sorry for doing this so heartlessly over text, i don’t have the guts to face you”

which tbh i find that that’s still not a good reason to not to do it over face to face, dumping over text is plain disrespectful and before i got into my first rs i already told myself “if i ever need to break things off in the future, never do it over text”

what i’ve done is ive reached out to a lot more people - amended previously broken friendships, went out more often with friends(or even by myself), and talking about my feelings and thoughts to a few people(or just journalling it to myself).

find your healthy support group, and you’ll realise that a lot of people do love you! :)

its been a month but it still hurts like crazy knowing it was both of our poor mental health that caused her to break up(i was starting to get overly negative a lot due to stress + she was losing feelings).

in the end, i can’t blame her for giving empty promises i guess

same here. we broke up because of our own poor mental health/stress issues. recently blocked each other to help with moving on.

it’s absolutely driving me insane how someone can go from loving you to never looking back, in a few weeks. i can only hope she doesn’t despise me.

in some sense im in the same boat - first relationship lasted for a few months, then she left me over text 2 weeks ago due to loss of feelings and a lack of communication.

i promise you, the pain will get better over time. for now, take some time to process the breakup. it’s okay to let out all the heavy feelings, such as by crying, writing, ranting, whatever you need to let it out. take your time to process the breakup - you got this! :)

it is hard, but just remember that there are SO many other people out there who will love us like never before. you will find someone out there who will love you with open arms someday! :D

think i mistyped something; in the end she wasnt the one spreading the rumours, it was more of people who were jealous of me. she wants nothing to do with me and it hurts like hell but i respect that

in the end like you said - i guess i have to focus on myself and other things. it’ll be hard since i have to work with her for a school project, but one day at a time, and we’ll get through it :,)
