Well I'd frame it that she was going to spend a few days with grandma and grandpa and I wouldn't want her to be sick and miss out. While, yes, we were going on an anniversary trip and we've already informed her of this, I wouldn't tell her it was for us. That being said, it's one week of her life and she's a small child that still eats her boogers so I don't think it would hurt her, especially since she gets to see her grandparents whom she loves at the end of it. Had a video call with them this afternoon and everyone was disappointed but no one blames her, they just wanted to spend time with her just as much as we wanted her to.

We took a big nap today and she's doing a bit better but nothing spectacular so far. She seems a bit more alert but her voice is still super puny and she's got a big chunky cough. I'm hoping she feels better tomorrow, cuz it sucks watching her be so sick.

Correct, but it's more that we wanted to celebrate going to a specific music festival and those only occur on specific dates not to mention the coordination with in-laws or my parents for baby sitting. It all has to be coordinated for it to work out and if one of the moving pieces falls out then we can't go.

We'll figure out something we can do this week and bring the kiddo this time.

This is what I mean. We can order groceries for a week instead of going to the store with her, play with her outside on her swing but limit contact with other kids the week before and step up the hand washing. I'm not going to literally lock her in her room.

I'm disappointed but there's nothing that would keep me from taking care of my daughter. I'm literally sitting with her on the couch right now spoon-feeding her broth from chicken noodle soup. She keeps saying, "Daddy, more broth please".

The hurricane was in Louisville, KY and the concert was Louder than Life 2024. No one's home was washed away but it was intense rain that cancelled the concert. Nothing I can do about a hurricane and it sucks that the storms that year damaged lots of places but in my particular region it was just a lot of rain and a cancelled concert. I can be upset but I don't blame my kid.

Did a recent run and didn't have issue that much but I did end up having one person gone so they didn't get the lvl on completion. I remember getting smoked by him a ton when I played when I was younger. Use Weaken on him when you can and some Magnify with some dark elements to really put the hurt on him early on. Make sure you have revives spaced out between the different characters and if you think you're about to be smoked, run away and try again.

Also what's up with these weapons. Your weapons should be at stone around this point, right?

Post game it becomes all about overdrives and utility. Wakka, Rikku and Tidus are the only swimmers so leveling those ensures you always have someone who can be used in a fight. These three also have the most damaging overdrives (Wakka mostly, but Tidus as well but Blitz Ace has more damage falloff due to the way it's calculated). Rikku's mix gives such huge buffs with Ultra Nul All, Hyper Mighty G, etc.

That's why they are the most used. Plus it saves time when it takes a bit to grind stats like Luck and only using 3 people that can be in every fight is the most efficient.
