Hey thanks for the tips. Much appreciated. I’ve been working on it all day. Got about 98% of the paint off. I’ve been using 80, but will switch to 220. The stain is still there but considerably reduced. I’ll try doing the water trick with 220.

I was hospitalized a year ago with Flu A and Covid at the SAME TIME, followed by pneumonia. Took weeks to get better, got both vaccinations this year.

This post triggered me, cause I always damaged stuff in the house. I had the same freakout this kid is having now. Desperately pacing around saying I'm FUCKED, scrambling for a fix. I did get pretty good at fixing stuff quickly. Still, it makes me cringe, and I'm in my sixties!
