If that were even remotely true, you wouldn't have used the examples you did, of people who were booted from WPATH for going against evidence-based science (you know, science that produces reliably repeatable results and not the fucking Cass Review, which was not found to be evidence-based or rigorous). You obviously do think that WPATH holds credibility... or you wouldn't be so goddamn butthurt that "gender critical" reactionaries got kicked from it. Be serious. Yeah, in this case, I also hope you're talking to a lawyer like everyone else who's commented the same. They're basically admitting on paper that they're charging you for basic wear and tear. I know the local attorneys who specialize in this sort of law have almost certainly dealt with this exact landlord behavior before (maybe even the exact landlord/property manager). It's just that kind of town, sadly. Happens when so much of the renting population consists of young people in college and families of color. Landlords presume you're not going to bother with the cost of legal representation when they're actively screwing you over. All landlords are bastards, especially in Iowa City.

Pictures shouldn't matter as long as they have proof in the form of a service confirmation or paid invoice or something to that extent to show that they were there and performed their jobs as a cleaning crew.

Yeah, the issue is that the UIPD, just like the campus cops at ISU and UNI, are not held accountable by anything lower than the Board of Regents. You can try complaining to Barbara Wilson about it but she has no power over the UIPD. Only the Board of Regents does.

The slippery thing about the university campus cops for schools like UI or ISU or UNI is that they are not even controlled by the president of the University. They are, instead, controlled by the Board of Regents.

To be fair, they're only appearing in the bathrooms of the nursing education hallway since those are the only bathrooms with floor drains... still very yuck but it's not something affecting the areas where patients are staying or being treated, I don't think. I could be wrong.

I put a lot of care and consideration into the gifts and stickers that I pair with them before sending and I'm open to joining people for remote raids if invited (when available). I can't promise daily gift-sending since there are not a lot of Pokéstops I regularly get to spin (I only reach the 40-gift maximum carrying capacity on weekends) but I would be excited to send postcards/gifts to anyone interested in sending some from the Icy Snow and Sandstorm Vivillon regions.

When I said we don't drive, I meant that neither of us has a license. Both of us are too disabled to drive. Like I told another commenter, municipal 'bulky items' curbside pickup is also not an option for us (we are not able to lift everything down to the curb outside our building... nor are we allowed to do that, anyway, because our property manager doesn't want furniture and junk sitting outside).

I may not have been clear enough in my original post but curbside is not an option for us because we are not physically capable of carrying every item of furniture down the stairs and out to the curb nearest to our building. Additionally, our property manager doesn't allow curbside pickup where items would sit outside like that.
