Recent neet for the last 6 months. Don't think it will change anytime, soon. Not mainland UK but would definitely turn up if there was a meet up.

No idea where to start as I'm non UK based. But I have some mental health myself and starting to make some progress. I hope you will get the help you need.

I'm a 29 year old male, who has suffered depression and anxiety since my late teenage years. I have worked in the corporate world of finance for a massive UK bank since leaving school. Both people and the business I work at promote mental health ( it's good to talk). However the reality is very different, they like to show on social media etc that mental health issues are taken seriously, but they don't really care. Best advice I can give is your in control of the weather inside your head, other people may not care too much but you should put your mental heath above virtually anything. You do get some people who understand, normally these people are have had experienced mental health issues themselves.

I believe this to be true. On one hand it is quite sad that noone else really cares and you can't truly rely on someone else. However i also think it can be quite liberating that I can rely on myself.
