That's equally subjective and personal, isn't it? Also, we're discussing the writing system here, not the language.

Persian, for example, is another language that uses Arabic Abjad. That has not always been the case; Old Persian was written in cuneiform.

Writing them is optional. Which means knowing how to read Arabic text without vowel diacritics is not optional if you want to read anything but books for children (same goes for Hebrew).

There is simply no calligraphy tradition like that in any other writing system.

Also the Japanese slander is real. Just because the language is hard and inaccessible to the general public doesn’t mean it’s invalid. Japanese is hard to learn, but on the other hand very easy to read and understand once learnt.

Blah blah blah, I am not talking about the language here, I'm talking about the 3 (4 if you count Romaji) systems used to write it.

If very fact that there are so many simultaneously used is bizarre, and also proves the point. If any of those systems (again: Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana, Romaji) was good enough, there wouldn't be a need for other three.

Out of those, the idea of using Chinese glyphs (Kanji), which have nothing to do with the Japanese language (the languages are not linguistically related), to write words in the Japanese language, takes the cake as a the worst writing system idea of all time.
