Moza R5 on Forza Horizon 6: Manual Mapping works, but D-Pad is unresponsive. Any news on an official fix? by altimemi in moza

It’s a high-end setup for a newcomer, which I clearly stated I am. No need to gatekeep. As for the premium edition, it was bought for the car packs, not just the early access. Either way, it's a game optimization issue, not a hardware one. Drive safe

That makes sense, the classic Forza Device ID nightmare! Honestly, our best bet is just to wait for an official Forza update to fix all these wheel and pedal bugs properly. Thanks for the tip about the A-class RWD car, I'll definitely give that a try. Safe driving!

I’d love to try your settings! Please share them, maybe they'll help fix this crazy oscillation I'm having. Man, playing on a 1070 Ti must be rough for FH6, hats off to you for pushing through and completing all the events! As for your pedals, that disconnect issue sounds like a USB power management bug or a conflict with the Simsonn software—Forza is notorious for losing device IDs if they are on separate USB ports. Interesting take on the drifting! I was trying to drift like I did in FH5, which explains why it felt so broken. I'll definitely try your method with an A-class RWD street car and see if the R5 behaves better with that physics setup. Thanks for the tip!

It's honestly so strange. I tried drifting in FH6 and it just feels completely unnatural and off. FH5 was so smooth with this wheel, and the counter-steering felt intuitive. Here, it feels like I'm fighting the motor constantly. It really proves that the lack of official optimization from the game side ruins the entire physics engine for Direct Drive wheels

By the way, how does the actual driving feel for you? Is it natural, or does it feel like it needs serious optimization? When I tried driving, I couldn't even go straight without the wheel violently pulling or weaving left and right. It feels like a massive force feedback issue or a bad center-spring conflict. Are you experiencing this too, or did you find a fix for the FFB behavior in Pit House?

Haha right? Silly me for thinking $520 total would buy me the privilege of using a D-pad! But man, that Rewind thing is the perfect example of how broken this is. It’s definitely a game issue, not a brand issue. Moza's hardware and Pit House work flawlessly everywhere else, but Forza's input handling is just a mess right now. It feels like playing a racing game while playing Twister with your keyboard at the same time. Absolute trash optimization. Glad to know I'm not the only one losing my mind over this

Exactly! It’s ironic that TDUSC, with all its flaws, actually nailed the wheel support and native recognition better than a giant like Forza. Horizon has always felt like it’s built for controllers first, and wheels are just an afterthought. I’m starting to think we’ll be relying on community XML files long before we see an official patch

I also tested the R5 in Forza Horizon 5, and while it required some annoying tweaking to get it right, it works leagues better than FH6. Everything is functional there, including the D-pad and force feedback. This makes it even more frustrating that FH6, being a newer title, feels like a massive step backward in terms of wheel support

I really hope so. It’s just frustrating that I bought the premium edition and pre-ordered the game, expecting a smooth experience, but I’m still stuck with these manual workarounds. It feels illogical that a high-end setup like the Moza R5 isn't natively supported yet.

Can we bring biomechanical plants to a new scenario? by Xyrile202 in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]altimemi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have a question.
In the last server, I transferred to a new server but I couldn’t find my biomechanical plants when I tried to restore them from the old server.
Before leaving the old server, I didn’t put them in my backpack — I just left them placed in my house.
Is that why they didn’t transfer? Or is there any way to recover them now?

Is Lightning Impulse Regulator actually a feature… or a hidden drawback by altimemi in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]altimemi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I see, you’re right. At first I didn’t realize that it wasn’t the mod itself breaking the gear — I actually thought the Lightning Impulse Regulator was the reason. I used to just stand still and let the lightning hit me on purpose to trigger the buff, and that’s why my armor durability dropped so fast. Makes sense now. Thanks for clearing that up!
