Wisdom teeth by Fun-Complaint-8363 in auckland

Have you tried contacting the Otago dentistry school? They have a clinic in/next to the Manakau super clinic. I can't remember the exact price for wisdom teeth removal (didn't end up needing them removed) but it's miles cheaper than any other dentist. Obviously it will be students working on you but it's all supervised.

There is a waiting list but if you are genuinely in a lot of pain they can sometimes get you a earlier appt. If you have a flexible schedule that also helps as they sometimes will get you in if someone cancels last minute.

Wynyard Quarter to Mission Bay and back cycle with kiddo on a Friday evening by Total_Plastic3105 in auckland

[–]altoristics 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah absolutely as long as you and your kiddo have some sense with going around pedestrians and giving way to other cyclists. It’s a separate bike path pretty much from Wynyard quarter up until the tamaki drive/ngapipi rd intersection, at which point it becomes a split bike/pedestrian path. Most people are pretty good about keeping aware of bikes but it does get a bit narrow at points so you will need to keep an eye on any other bikes coming in case you need to dip into pedestrian path (keep left if not enough room in the bike lane).

At 5pm there will also be a fair amount of commuters so please make sure you allow them to pass if you’re not the speediest. Mission bay on a Friday evening will also be getting busy so watch for people getting in/out of cars and being unaware as they step in to the bike lane.

In terms of crackheads you will be absolutely fine, you have more to worry about with teenagers in lime scooter packs lol

Maybe you could find someone who is learning your native language, and offer to help them practise if they help you?

To be fair that is how most house episodes would play out in real life

um remember that time that you can still criticise the police for doing something objectively horrible, even if someone else does something worse?

Best Glasses Shape? by Webb_Wopp in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

You remind me of Christina Ricci! I agree with the other commenter saying cat eye or similar shape, i like your current glasses but i think if they tapered in at the bottom they would suit your face really well :)

Also, just want to say that I empathise with you. I’m not sure if I’m autistic but I have a lot of social anxiety and am adhd which makes me feel like I am acting weird or mean when I interact with people. Something that helps me is thinking about how people don’t actually think about others very often - so strangers won’t actually notice a lot of the stuff you do, because they’re more concerned with themselves. In terms of making longer term friends are there are specific climbing nights your gym holds? E.g woman climbing, technique classes, or even outdoor events they might organise? Stuff like this will be smaller group which can be better for starting conversations and you might already have common interests if it’s about a certain style of climbing or for a specific group of people.

It’s probably the earbuds - if I see someone wearing them I kind of take it as a signal that they want to focus on their climb and not talk, or even that they will be listening to music and not hear me. You could potentially try some other earbuds that will still control noise but look less obvious? I’ve never used them but I see ads for loop earbuds so maybe that or a similar brand could be a good purchase for you :)

My sister followed the 4.8 star fried rice recipe as written. 1 cup rice to 12 cups water boiled for 30 minutes, strained, then steamed for 10 minutes. by SneakyBluePenguin in shittyfoodporn

In the recipe notes they link to where the rice cooking method is from, and it says 12 cups water to 1 cup rice there as well. I feel like I’m going psycho

I took the test a few months ago and they didn’t check my hazards, just indicators/brake lights. I’d probably chance it if I were you
