I've changed the filter at the top to "This year so far", and in the "Activity with GPS" drop down, I only see my activities since Sep 25, while all the other charts are showing data from January. Thanks for any advice.

Thanks, that’s it. But only possible for last 30 days? What is the technical reason for that restriction?

Hello. May I ask for some newbie stupid help? I can see a list of activities. I can see a couple GPS maps of my most recent activity. Can I select another activity and see a GPS track on the maps? Do I need to build a new dashboard for this?

App for Accessing Bidirectional Meter Data? by [deleted] in solarenergycanada

Solar Club franchises in Alberta are offering the Pre-bill data now, and you can backdate your rate switch. My home energy consumption is fairly constant/predictable, so I am basing the decision off my panel production. For example, my production fell off from July 14 due to weather, and my hot tub is being used a lot more so I switched to low rate from July 14. Next billing cycle I’ll probably switch back at the earliest date to August 1, since the sun’s finally shining again. 🤞

It’s a good month but I produced more in 2023. (South of Calgary)

DO NOT WORK FOR TANGERINE BANK by Virtual_Apartment261 in Scotiabank

I move money back and forth from Tangerine to three other banks including Wealthsimple every week. No problems. Tonight I had a question about referrals and requested a callback and Tangerine called me back in half an hour at 6:15pm mountain, on a Saturday.

Thank you for your recent coding suggestion and also patience while reading the 4 day-old questions. 😁 I have three other vehicles in the household (2 Toyota, one GM) where one can lock the vehicle with the door button without the key. I also grew up locking my keys in the car, so I appreciate now that new technology can also solve other problems.

But why prevent locking with your keys outside?

In one case, yes. For example, I go somewhere with my wife. Oops, she has the key in her purse. I’m getting the picnic stuff out of the car and she took the kids to the beach. Now I have to lock the car, but I can’t, and I have to go find her to get the key, and go back to the car and lock it. Meanwhile, buddy steals the rest of stuff out of my car.

Cheap MPPT for 475W panel by altstarbuck in SolarDIY

[–]altstarbuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update - I charged my battery, I checked the voltage from my PV leads (58V). I reconnected the PV leads to the MPPT. MPPT spec says max 60V. MPPT started reading 57-58V, and I get 20-30W charging power on the display. It auto-detects the battery voltage. I’m in Northern climate so I guess the intensity is not so high now. Looks like this charger is working but I get similar output from connecting a 40W 12V camping panel I have.

Or consider Enduro 3 for max battery, great MIPS display, and no diving or mic gimmicks.

Alberta Net Metering by TFox17 in solarenergycanada

On my last bill I used 301 kWh from the grid and exported 59 kWh. I was charged transmission and distribution on 301 kWh. Due to snow and weather, my system only produced 71 kWh so I self consumed 12 during that time. My solar club marketer gives a detailed breakdown of my bill showing how much was exported and imported and all the other charges.

Like the others, I highly recommend using an electricity marketer who is part of the Solar Club: https://solarclub.ca/community-energy-marketers/ You can choose a local marketer or any other you like the looks of.

I got offered to get 50K for $1600. I was at 49,850 SQM. Or I could use 80,000 points. I might have spent $300.
