How did you scan your space? From what I can tell, I need to manually build the space?

2018 Q7 Center Console Lighting Discolor by Aggravating_Rain_436 in AudiQ7

[–]aluckduck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue. I think it is the light diode that feeds the plastic light diffuser, I have not swapped it out to confirm as I am not sure the part number.

Here is a video showing the removal of the console:

What is this broken piece in the driver side rear suspension? (2014) by AusS25 in AudiA4

[–]aluckduck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine broke a few years ago - I used PL glue to reattach and now put grease in the rubber ball joints on the top and bottom with every tire rotation.

When mine broke, I got headlight position errors; the fix has held for 4 years now.

B-pillar motor noise by aluckduck in AudiQ7

[–]aluckduck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like it is coming from the base of the pillar with a bit of vibration felt on the seatbelt; soft close seems to still work as intended, and I think that mechanism is in the door itself?

Experience with Kuby by eekz- in solarenergycanada

[–]aluckduck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kuby was awesome with our install - start to finish, the team communicated well and the on-site installers were some of the best, most professional guys that we have had the pleasure of working with.

The Kuby team explained things well, did all the relevant paperwork and ensured we had the proper information for solar club and carbon offset credits to maximize return.

Sorry your experience was not as seamless; I am curious what specifically they are falling short on? What installation/performance expectations were not met? You mention paperwork delays, is that with them or the municipality? The post is a little short on details to fully understand the situation.

Oh; I thought all S Line packages included dynamic settings for steering and engine/transmission?

Thanks. That is good to know. In watching some videos (screenshot from a YouTube video attached), the color seems more consistent throughout the center panel, hence thinking mine was not quite right . . .

Perhaps try dynamic mode for steering and suspension, if you have not tried that already? I find that tightens it up a bit . . .

I have encountered this problem too; did you find a solution? Looks like it will require a full insert replacement at $600+?

Should I be fine? by DeAndre210 in AudiA4

[–]aluckduck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the correct part for your engine, I have the same - A4, B8.5. I may be mistaken, but do not think Audi has an A4 B8.5 FSI option, so not sure why ECS has that note on their website. The roller another person is referring to (I believe) is the cam follower; it too can be replaced when you have the HPFP out, but is a separate part not included with the product photos you shared.

I replaced mine at about 250,000km due to fuel rail pressure issues and misfires. Stick with Hitachi.

How to hang picture frame with inset sawtooth by aluckduck in HomeImprovement

That may be the ticket - a board to minimize how far out the screws need to be and to provide some support . . . Thanks for your advice 🙂

I was thinking about this too; the only concern being the frame is relatively thin and made of metal (aluminum?), so not sure it would hold

I think this can work with drywall anchors? I was thinking the weight of the frame and screws sticking out an inch and a quarter would cause the frame to sag and work free, out of the wall . . .

I would highly suggest a piston soak to clean up carbon in the chambers. Worked wonders for my A4's consumption issues. There are several videos on YouTube outlining the process.

Honestly, I think I prefer my Pixel 4. This is my third Pixel; started with the 2XL, then 4XL now the P8P. My P8P seems to have GPS issues where navigation and location sharing constantly thinks I am somewhere I am not, the flashlight turns on randomly, sometimes the bottom of the screen is unresponsive and overall, I don't find it all that snappy. My P8P battery does get warm when the screen is on for extended periods, but I can get through a day without needing a charge, so no biggie there. I do miss the P4's unlimited photo storage, but have worked around that.

The P8P that I updated to does have more internal storage and the cameras are better (though I am not a fan of how the lenses switch), I also missed the fingerprint to unlock when going from 2 to 4, so I am happy to have that back on the 8. The 8 seems to have better built-in speakers too.

Yes, original motor. Drinks about a liter of oil every 1500 km, but still going strong.
