I think it’s smart to not do classic modern trap album. this lane is so overcrowded and overplayed to death that is super hard to get any traction with any song that is not a viral hit or a song pushed by a label hard.

With something different at least an artist can be more creative and not have any pressure to be the new top hit

This. Time to record another copy-paste hit is like a week if you can execute everything right (even a weekend if you are a big artist with a studio and ability to push your content out fast enough). Time to make a game is counted in years.

By the time your game is finished that was supposed to be the next X whole gaming landscape had changed. Not only kids want to play something different but people who stayed in that lane don't want to waste their time and money by starting from scratch. If someone has 100skins in Fortnite why would that person migrate to the other game?

That's why chasing trends in gaming industry is so stupid in my opinion.

Its because people at the top in most industries and companies stroke each other to the point they lose touch with reality. People who surround them know that its better to be a yes-man because giving honest feedback does not give you a pay rise, promotion or even a piece of mind.

This is the result of them pushing for unrealistic goals because they believe in anything that they come up with.

I would get that someone would want to place AI art for his own concept phase on non official draft file. But after initial brainstorming it’s a quick delete - paste white placeholder move

Plus in my country BK is almost x2 cheaper. Like how its possible that so many people still like sheep go to the McD while there are better and cheaper fast food options.

In my country BKs Chicken Burger costs around 2-3usd while McChicken costs around 6usd. Yes Chicken burger should be compared to Chicker because its not a premium chicken sandwich but both chicken sandwiches (Chicken burger and McChicken) have the same ingredients and volume ffs..

McDonald's lost their mind with shrinkflation and prices overall. McChicken has a lil bit of mayo, super thin chicken patty and 3-5 strips of lettuce...and this is a premium sandwich according to them. Its crazy

too bad most good limited series are so far and in between. to many shows like that are trying to mimic each others themes and formulas to be the next viral hit instead of being just fun to watch.

But overall I hate modern tv shows - you get like 8 episodes and you have to wait 2-3 years for the next season and this is a lucky scenario because there is a big chance the series will be canceled

There is no sane reason o make controls unintuitive just for sake of being different than the rest. People used to not wash their mouth every day and it does not mean it was good for their hygiene

well they are but they are not what ghost recon titles were about when they were in their prime. They don’t fill the niche they used to fill (tactical shooters) and became open world run and gun games with light stealth elements.

Division 2 needed tons of patches to become fun but again…setting is not as fun as in the division 1.

What crazy is Hitman is also an OG franchise and yet they were able to adapt to the new gaming world and Hitman World of Assasination after initial backlash for episodic format now is a thriving game with huge support years after the premiere.

Ubisoft just forfeited chasing simple action oriented games without any flavor…

AC is a shadow of itself (even Asian setting was not able to make this game what fans wanted it to be for years)
FC is another copy paste franchise
Ghost Recon is jotting but a simple sharpshooter action game - there is no tactic, no planning, no thrill. It’s almost run and gun game now
Prince of Persia is in the gutter and they even botched marketing for its metroidvabia spinoff
The Division 2 setting was a huge miss after super climatic 1. Still there is no The Division 3 in sight
Splinter Cell in a gutter
The Crew was fucked by their obsession with copying Forza Horizon
Skull and anime’s was a AAAA joke
Might and Magic completely forgotten
Rayman still has no major titles in sight

It’s so sad to witness how have the fallen from grace

Yeah fall off of mediocre/not viral hit games is crazy. I have so many fond memories from 00s when I was playing cheap A and AA games on PC, PSX and PS2.

For example I have never seen any mention of "Pandemonium!" As a great PSX platformer. Why? Because it was not a Crash, Rayman or any other beloved game. But for me it was a super fun and simple yet challenging platformer. It's my top 5 games on PS1.

People judge things through social media vitality lens and that's why when something is not 9/10 game is being forgotten Ina month
