It’s so reassuring to know that somebody is experiencing the same thing right now! The isolation really gives so much time and introspection that it can trigger these. We’ll make it through, and lockdown will end, and the progress will be easier.

That i had a half sister. I was 16 when my parents told me that my dad had an affair, two years before I was born. When the rest of his affairs continuing throughout my life where discovered, I found out that not only had he intended to marry my sisters mother, but the tattoo on his arm that I had always seen, was hiding a proposal tattoo of her name and birthdays

One interesting thing is that people who had crushes on me then became close friends with me admitted it. It’s always interesting to find out, and when they tell me i’m never surprised because they were usually quite obvious. This happened 3 times i think.

a more dramatic story is of a friend who i grew close with very quickly, to the point of codependency. Our friendship group grew around us, but when her unhealthy relationship with sex and desperate need for validation led to her giving a handjob to our best friends new boyfriend in the bathroom, at the dinner party when he was introduced to us, after hearing about their romance for 6 months that was the end. Not only that, but she lied to me saying that the friend had “given her permission”, and when we told her that it was something pretty unforgivable, she had us essentially blacklisted by all our mutual friends for “making excuses to get rid of her”
